What a difference the new cartidges made! Now there's actually control of temperature, water pressure and the hot water side turns off completely. Nice!

High heat seems to ruin the ability to keep the faucet off in only a few months. Does anyone know if there is a separate valve for the hot water? They are a good fit and appear to be an exact copy of the original.

Still leaked after replacing. The washers are very thin.

Bought this to replace 44012 and it worked great!

This faucet stem assembly was the perfect replacement part for the shower faucet that was leaking through the stem. The replacement took a couple of minutes to change. Very satisfying to solve the problem so easily without having to rebuild the old stem, or replace washers. This was ready to go.

Perfect replacement for the Phoenix 61-5 stem, but they sold out; the replacements may not be the same.

Liked that they fit and repaired our leaky faucets in our Solitaire home.
