Mackays Ginger Preserve, 12 Ounce

I love this ginger jam as it goes so well with chicken, pork and fish. It’s also very good on toast and other foods. Love it!

i cant get enough of this preserve! I love ginger and this is amazing on toast. It has good chunks of ginger in it which i love. It is just like regular jelly or jam (as it is called in the states) but it bursts with flavor. It is shipped in a glass jar but i have ordered it 3 times and never one broken jar at all. If you like ginger its worth the try!

Great ginger flavor. Works well as an accompaniment to pork or as a spread on toast.

It is good. Taste like ginger, not artificial, but real ginger. The cost is not high, especially considering it tastes like it came from your Grandma's kitchen. Something she simmered and stirred lovingly for a while, waiting for it to be just right.

I tried this as much to remember the product's taste as a childhood favorite and also as a means to bring sugar, ginger, and a more robust mouth feel to a Penicillin cocktail. Good on all fronts!

Wow even though it is expensive, once you taste it, you will agree it is worth it. The texture has amazing chunks of ginger. Yummm

Very nice tangy flavour with real bits of ginger in it.

Ginger chunks is what makes the product stand out. It isn't spicy. Though you get to enjoy the crunchy ginger pieces, be aware of the sugar content as well. If you are healthy enough to overlook the sugar, then go for it.

Hatte Mackays Ginger Preserve damals bei unserem lokalen Supermarkt als Alternative zu den üblichen Chivers & Co. probiert und war hin und weg. Die Fruchtigkeit, die großen Ingwerstücke, das intensive Aroma, das gab es sonst nicht. Ab dann kaufte ich nur noch genau diese Ingwer-Konfitüre, bis ... ja bis der Supermarkt genau Mackays aus dem Programm nahm. Seitdem bin ich auf den Versand angewiesen und leiste mir den Luxus von knapp 8 Euro pro Glas immer wieder, bestelle dann 6 Gläser und die reichend dann ein paar - Tage. Wer Ingwer liebt, wird diese Konfitüre feiern!

Mackays Ginger Preserve is truly delectable. In fact, all the Jams and Preserves of Mackays are very tasty. I would request the manufacturer to make them available also in 500 gm bottles.
