Product description A group of teenaged friends come of age during the 1970s.Genre: Television: SeriesRating: NRRelease Date: 8-MAY-2007Media Type: DVD desertcart.com A serious season of That '70s Show? Perhaps that's a stretch in terms of describing the sixth season of the well-loved teen comedy series, but more than a few moments of gravitas slipped into the slapstick adventures of Eric Forman (Topher Grace) and his pals during its 2003-2004 network run. That's not to say that laughs weren't the order of the day; on the contrary, there are plenty of funny episodes throughout season six, thanks mainly to Kelso (Ashton Kutcher), who finds himself a new dad via new girl Brooke (guest star Shannon Elizabeth) and a police cadet (Jim Gaffigan appears as a fellow officer); and Fez (Wilmer Valderrama), who marries Eric's sister Laurie (played this season by Christine Moore) to avoid deportation. But there's the issue of Red's (Kurtwood Smith) overtaxed heart, and wife Kitty's (the always spot-on Debra Jo Rupp) feelings of neglect; Hyde (Danny Masterson) and the true identity of his father; and biggest of all, the romance of series sweethearts Eric and Donna (Laura Prepon), who decide to take their relationship to the next level by getting engaged. Season six is an enjoyable blend of low-key drama and broad laughs, well played by its likable cast; guest stars this season include Brooke Shields, Seth Green, Rachel Bilson, and Alyson Hannigan, and Luke Wilson and Tanya Roberts make return engagements as Kelso's brother Casey and Donna's mom Midge, respectively. Extras include two "'70s Flashback" interviews with Smith and Rupp, who reflect on their tenures on the show; "Six Minutes of Season Six" edits the entire episode run down to digest form, and director David Trainer provides commentary on two episodes. -- Paul Gaita Review: LOVE THAT 70's SHOW! - i've watched that 70's show from begining to end. i love the whole series except for how they ended up Jackie's love interest. I won't spoil it for anyone but it was not the right guy!!!! anyway i have seasons 1-5 and i came to desertcart for season 6. i have to throw a warning out here now. if you are someone who likes packaging, and you have previous seasons (original packaging), you have to be careful which dvd set you order. the one desertcart has for sale (by MILLER CREEK STUDIOS) is some new cheaper packaging that came out, which is 3 dvd's instead of 4, and is in a plastic regular dvd case. inside are the three dvd's (this is the part that i was really confused about). the dvd's are each inside a PAPER (yes paper) dvd sleeve. i dont know why they would ever come out with this kind of packaging but it's pretty cheap looking, unless you're someone who doesn't care about quality of packaging. Anyway, i sent that one back because i was pretty mad since i am a stickler for packaging to all be the same, and it was not described as having paper sleeves. i found this version (BY 20th CENTURY FOX) by a seller and am very pleased with it. it is the original packaging with cardboard outer case and the individual slim plastic cases inside. the old packaging used to have 4 dvd cases each with seperate dvd, but this one has 2 cases with 2 dvds in each. that is not the fault of the seller however, that is what 20th century fox changed the packaging to after season 5 (i don't know why they'd do that in the middle of a dvd series, but it's not that bad, still looks the same from the outside). all in all this is the orignal version and nicer packaging. even if it's a few dollars more, it's worth it to me. so for anyone ordering this, if you're into packaging, make sure you find out what you're getting. u can tell in the differences of the thumbnails bc this is how all of the seasons are. the one by desertcart is different, although it still had all the episodes on it, i personally didn't want paper dvd sleeves lol good luck to you all! Review: GREAT SHOW - GREAT SEASON - even Brooke Shields - I love this show, I lived the seventies! What a cool time to grow up! In this set, I especially enjoyed seeing Brooke Shields play Mom to Jackie and girlfriend to Bob. The scene where Jackie and Donna discover Pam (B Shields) in a hot tub with Bob is too funny. Jackie and Donna joining forces to try to split their parents up is a hilarious change. Aaah - the Seventies! I noticed a review from a customer with skips, freezes, etc. If you have a problem with freezing, skipping, etc with a disc from a boxed set, try playing it in a friend's DVD player to be sure it isn't your player. Back in 2003 I returned two different boxed sets of "Keeping up Appearances" thinking both were defective. Skips and freezes showed up in same place on same disc with both BOXED sets. With the third set, I decided to try in a friend's DVD player. It played perfectly. The problem had been my player all along. My defective player was a RCA DRC220N - discarded since 2003.

That 70s gang I love
That 70s show has many characters that appeal to every young person who can identify with them. My favorite character is Eric and he is extremely nerdy in this one, especially with his nerd fight with Mitch. Fez is hilarious when it comes to interacting with Red. Hyde is always the cool cat who you'd want to grab a beer with, and Kelso, well he's Kelso. The only complaint about this season is with the Laurie casting choice. Christina Moore's panties pale in comparison to Robin Kelly's devilish grin, but that doesn't take away from another great season of a great show that I love to watch religiously. Might I add I'm pleased at the condition of the package and will enjoy this season along with any friends and family that want to join in and visit Eric's basement. Hello Wisconsin!

Another great season finally available
This is one of the best seasons of That 70's Show, it is aleast in the top 5. I just wish it didn't take so long for them to come out with the DVD's. This season is more focused on the gang after high school and some of the episodes with Hyde, Eric, and Kelso working at the hotel resturant are hiliarious. And the ones with Shannon Elizabeth aren't bad either. I cannot wait for Season 7 to be released, but I would absolutely recommend Season 6 for anyone who loves the show or even for the casual watcher.

still great after 6 seasons
This show is great. If your a fan of the show you definetly need to purchase this season. It is well worth it. I thought it might have been the most funny out of all the seasons. The last episode was a bad bad cliff hanger though so you better get the seventh one also. Overall great entertainment.

Worked, no scratches, I was not disappointed. There is enough episodes on the first tell discs to put on have background noise for a very good amount of time without having to change discs which I love. 3rd disk is only the final episode.

AWESOME!
Season 6 of That 70's Show continues to bring laughs. The gang is still continuously bringing new material to the show. I was definitely surprised to find that this show is still hilarious after 6 seasons. This is definitely worth the money.

DVD discs were all in good condition for a second hand item. The show is great fun but is unfortunately marked by a certain actor’s behaviour outside of the show.

I have to say I'm envious of the writers of this show. They've written series after series of this show (I'm currently half way through series 7, and will be gutted when it ends) - and it never gets boring. There's very rarely an episode that goes by that doesn't make me laugh, and have tears (of mirth) rolling down my cheeks. That 70s Show is hilarious. Many other programmes would have gotten boring long before now, but the writers clearly have a skill that keep fans watching, and keeps the characters developing. It's a shame that the original 'Laurie' didn't continue to play the part, just as her role becomes a little more focussed in this series as the new one doesn't pack such a punch. However, all the other characters are their usual selves and had me giggling along from start to finish. I will mourn the end :(
