Ages range from 2 years to 8 years (and up, adults love them too). These are sturdy, and hold up to very rough, relentless use, the fasteners for the shields are still intact and the swords and shields still look new. If you've had any other sort of foam toy before you know that invariably it tears under normal use and has a rather short lifespan. These items are well worth their price and are high quality, toys. The artwork and design is realistic and well done, no fading, no distortion of graphics, stiff enough to thrust and parry, but still toys. When a shield is struck with a sword, there is a satisfying "thwack" that absolutely boosts troop morale. Highly recommend! Kingdoms have risen, fallen, and risen again with these well forged weapons.

A: Oh my yes. We've had this set for coming up on two years. Six year old and Grandpa have sword fights on a regular basis. Grandma got these because the hard plastic Star Wars type swords can hurt and these don't, so a lot more fun. Very durable.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little set for those safe play battles

Cool set. Me and my son have battled with these a lot and they have held up. They are simple foam without any plastic reinforcement inside the sword blades. They bend and all but are enough to give the feeling of sword fighting or battling to save some noble cause to the little ones. The red one is thicker and I’ve been hit a few times with the edge and it can hurt, so be aware of that. The handles are larger enough for adult hands. The shields have Velcro straps on the back to make adjustments to size so you have hold the straps with your hands or tighten down around your arm. Won’t last forever but the fun is well worth the price of admission
