Yes, for a external propane cylinder, you need to keep it at least 60 inches away from the unit when lit. And here comes a 118 gas hose which can connect the propane cylinder and the fire table. Thank you!

It's not recommended to convert to Natural Gas powered, since it may cause some certain safety issus and reduce the energy efficiency. But if you have well learned about the safety issue and still wanna conversion, please buy a LP to NG convertor, which includes 3/8" male to 1/2“ female flare thread. Thank you.
