Old English Scratch Cover for Light Woods, 8 Fl Oz.

This item is amazing. I've used Old English Scratch Cover for Dark Woods for years -- recently to revitalize a dining room table. But we had oak furniture with scratches from fur babies, so I decided to try this. It is truly a game changer. Covered the scratches, helped with some of the water spots, even heped clean dirty areas. Just a little bit does the job. Both types of Old English Scratch Cover will be in my cleaning bucket going forward.

I like this practice is very hard to find anymore in the light wood covering It does not take much to use so it lasted a very long time

I have Hickory kitchen cabinets with a light stain. Some areas were showing water exposure damage (damp hand towels and dishwasher steam culprits). I thought I was going to have to replace to damaged areas, but tried Old English Scratch Cover for Light Wood first. I was impressed with how easily and quickly it worked. I had started on one cabinet before thinking about taking a ‘before’ photo, so in the first picture I had already started applying the product on the right side of the cabinet door before taking the picture (so it is half done), there is an free photo too. I also used the Old English on a couple of scratches, and they have blended away. The cabinets look fantastic, you can no longer see the damage! This is a great value for the money, and the coloring of the wood blended beautifully. I would definitely recommend this product.

Different furniture needs different treatment. I was trying everything I know of to restore the wood where ppl had set down cold drinks and water went right into the wood. I have wood/ marble tables, 3, and WOULDNT you know? They move aside the coasters, place drinks on my wood. After two treatments with this, it is looking better, and I remember older generations says this was the best.

Yikes! 3 weeks later I am noticing that the scratches are showing through again. It may be a case where the dry wood took time to absorb the oil/stain and has now soaked in. I reapplied the oil and they are hidden again but I’m afraid they may reappear in a couple of weeks and it may be an ongoing effort. Just be aware that it might be the same for your project. My husband is a woodworker and had built beautiful pine kitchen cabinets several years ago. When our dog was a puppy he scratched the heck out of them. I thought I would give Old English Scratch Cover a try but didn't have a lot of hope that it would work. The results were incredible! The cabinets look like new! We used the light version on the aged pine and it was perfect. Can't say enough about how great this product is!!!
