I purchased this to have at my parents place in FL. We have the other brand at our home. This product is equivalent in quality. Easy to put together, my kids did it. They enjoyed in on the beach. Fun was had by all!

Enter the GoSports Slammo Game Set, and let me tell you—this thing delivers. First off, setup is a breeze. The frame is solid and easy to assemble, and it comes with a carry case that makes it super convenient to bring to the beach, park, or tailgate. You also get three balls (a major plus in case one goes rogue) and a pump, which is great because I hate scrambling for gear when I just want to play. Gameplay? Addictive. Think of it like volleyball meets four square, but way more fast-paced and strategic. It’s the kind of game that gets your heart pumping and your reflexes tested. Once everyone gets the hang of the rules (which are included and easy to follow), it’s game on. I’ve had 2v2 matches that felt as intense as any flag football game I’ve played. What I love most is the versatility—kids, teens, adults—everyone can get in on the action. I’ve taken it to beach days, BBQs, and even used it as a warm-up before soccer practice. It never fails to draw a crowd and spark some friendly (sometimes not-so-friendly) competition. This Slammo game is great fun for our entire family! We like that it is portable and can be taken on all our family adventures. The game is easily to learn and all ages can enjoy time playing it together. Having three different size balls included varies the game. We appreciated that the company included the needle to use on the pump to inflate the balls. The frame is very easy to put together. Our only challenge is getting the net on tightly enough so that the ball bounces. Getting the net on and off the plastic hooks on the frame takes some patience. We wish that there were also hooks on the green leg pieces to attach the net to as well. We recommend this to other families.

Super fun for many ages! Easy to set up! Use a highlighter or thin marker to loop into net mesh to pull/tug the net easily into a tight position. We played this at a party and immediately bought one! Our family and friends love it! We don’t take ours apart.

We have had our Slammo for just over a month now. We really enjoy it! The frame is a sturdy PVC. The net doesn't seem to be inappropriately stretching - provides great tension. It only takes about 5 minutes to set up - less than that to take down. Love being able to store it in the handy carry case, which has also been helpful when we have taken it to use in places other than our backyard. My teen-aged son even took it with him to a party and his friends all enjoyed playing! We like that it came with one slightly larger ball for when our younger kiddos play. Needless to say, the game is much less intense or physical when the little kids play, but that is another thing we like about it - it works for all ages! We bought Slammo after playing a cheaper version a family member bought at a local discount store after seeing Spikeball on Shark Tank. We found our Slammo to be much higher quality than the discount store version, and are glad we didn't pay extra for the Spikeball. We are completely happy with our purchase. This is a super fun game! UPDATE: October 2016. This past summer one of the feet of our Slammo broke when our son fell on it in an attempt to make an awesome save. We finally got around to emailing P&P Imports to purchase a replacement foot. They not only sent us a replacement, they send us an extra one as well, and didn't charge us. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Still love this game.

##UPDATED 7/19/15## We were pleased to hear back from the company in regard to our warped SLAMMO set. We were sent a new set and got it up and ready to play immediately. The kids played on a flatter service - the pavement in the front yard - hoping to avoid any warping or bending of the frame. However, possibly due to sharp stones/rocks on the hard surface, 2 of the balls included in the set popped. We are careful to keep the frame inside and to avoid exposing it to heat or sun - which seems odd for an outdoor/beach game!! The frame is still in good shape, we have one usable SLAMMO ball and the net is getting to be too loose to get really good bounces. Our son received a Spikeball set to replace the warped SLAMMO game and he actually prefers that set since the net stays tight, it doesn't warp in the sun and the balls haven't popped. He chose to take the Spikeball game along on our ten day vacation, played it every day and experienced no issues. We greatly appreciate the replacement set from SLAMMO and discovering that they really do support their consumers when issues arise. We just feel uncomfortable in constantly contacting them to repeatedly replace parts/pieces. UPDATE: About a week after our original email contacting this company, we received an email response. The email stated that the company would replace our set, however, we had already sent the warped Slammo set back for a refund. FedEx delivered this Slammo Set on a recent Saturday morning. We gave this to our son for his birthday present a few hours later. We put it together to be played during the birthday gathering that afternoon. 6 boys, ages 12-18 played this for most of the party - about 3 hours. A few parents joined in things seemed to go well. We all enjoyed playing & watching this fast speed competition. Everything was put away for the night. By Sunday morning things were not well with the Slammo Birthday gift. The black plastic frame was warped and the net was torn in the center. The game is now unplayable and the birthday boy is, understandably, upset. As was suggested in the "Thank You" paper enclosed with the SLAMMO set, we emailed P&P Imports. It mentions contacting them by email before we post negative feedback on Amazon. After getting no response to the email sent on Sunday afternoon, we sent a second email on Tuesday, 5/26. Have not received a reply up to this point. It looks like this set, which seemed to be a terrific value for a super fun activity game, will be returned. We are extremely frustrated, as we researched our options before completing our purchase. We chose GoSports Slammo game rather than the SpikeBall set, due to the reviews we saw posted here, the overall price, the contents included. It seemed like Slammo had made improvements on the net and the balls, which made this purchase seem like a better set. We remember reading 1 Amazon review which mentioned the warping/twisting of the black ring/frame after they had played for a day. So, apparently, there are at least 2 of us out there who have experienced this issue. Wish it would have worked out.

We purchased this in 2017, and it still is working as of today. A great quality product, easy to transport, and so fun to play. Highly recommend.

I was originally introduced to this game with the "spike ball" brand name. I had a blast playing with friends and so I began looking into buying my own set. I went with Slammo because of the price and it seemed to be a solid "knock off". I believe that spike ball is probably a higher quality product but Slammo is also a high quality and great product and played just as well in my opinion. Here are some differences I noticed having played both sets. ***Slammo has removable net anchors where spike ball has the anchors built right onto the black frame (this might initially take a little more time to set up with Slammo because you need to spread them out evenly on the black frame in order to put the net on correctly. However, once we began playing I did not notice a difference in how the ball responded to the net.) ***Slammo does not have a locking mechanism when you insert the black poles into the green legs, where with spike ball when you insert the frame into the legs it sort of clicks or locks into place (I personally preferred the Slammo set in this regard because it was quicker and smoother to set up and once the net is on, that force of the net pulling on the frame would prevent separation anyways...) ***Slammo green balls feel a bit thinner and bouncier than than the thicker spike ball yellow balls. (This is probably a personal preference but I think I prefer the spike ball balls. They were a bit more predictable than the very bouncy slammo balls. However, the Slammo balls still worked fine. (also the Slammo kit comes with a slightly larger training ball which would probably help beginners play the game.) All in all this is a great purchase if you like the game but want to save $20 compared to spike ball. There is nothing that would prevent me from giving this 5 stars and buying it again. To sum up the comparison, having played both I do think that spike ball is a slightly superior product due to the thicker balls and slightly more rigid frame. Plus the spike ball brand has a big following so if you want to make sure you "look cool" maybe spike ball is for you? With that being said I am glad I went with Slammo and gave it a 5 star rating because I saved $20 dollars and it is a great high quality comparable product. I bet most people would not be able to distinguish the two different sets besides the color.

We have purchased a cheaper one from another seller previously, this one has proven to be much better. Kids are loving it!
