VERY waterproof.
Had an older Reolink camera with triangular holes - that didn't quite match up with the ones listed as compatible. By using a larger drill, I opened the holes in the camera up so they matched close enough and did a mount. Looks fine and very tight enclosure that was easy to mount. A bit expensive, but perfect for the job.

Not for the 1240a
Does NOT fit the RLC-1240a. I bought this because the AI question/answer said someone bought it and it fit the RLC-1240a. This is incorrect. I purchased it, it does not fit. It is well made, and it does not say on the package that it fits, so I will not give it a low rating. I ended up drilling a couple holes and mounting the camera at an offset to make it work.

A bit pricey
A bit pricey given the very good pricing of Reolink cameras. Slightly different than photo - lid has many partial holes (obviously for other models) and a sticker showing the ones actually drilled and tapped. Sticker needs to be removed if installing in possibly wet areas.Perfect fix; makes for a very nice and neat install of Reolink cameras without leaving the connector pigtail on the camera exposed. Will be buying more.If installing outside, I recommend putting a bead of caulk on the bottom of the camera before screwing it to thejunction box.

Nice finished installation, TIPS INCLUDED, screws leave somewhat to be desired
You'll be happy when it's all done, but the predrilled holes for screws aren't so wonderful to attach because the screws are so short. Wish they were made of a ferrous metal so I could use my magnetic tray. I guess they are some kind of "stainless". DON'T LOSE SCREWS! The mounting screws for the cover plate are very small and short. Not a size you can find at the typical hardware store as they're made in China. When mounting the box to the wall, discard the wood screws provided and use something better. See last photo and you'll understand. I broke off two screw heads using my drill/driver putting these cheap ones into holes I had pre-drilled.The nut around where you feed the cable is a compression fitting to it will keep the weather out. You could use a separate wrench for the secondary nut because the rubber washer will deform unless you can hold it while tightening the compression nut.Mount Camera to cover plate while at a workbench (Not on a ladder). Much easier and less likely to lose those tiny screwsYou'll need to be able to attach a RJ45 connector to your cable after putting through the compression nut. You'll need a special tool available at hardware stores and YouTube has "How-To" videos to instruct you on this skill
