Compared to another, similarly mostly organic tanning product, I absolutely love that this has a very mild scent that is pleasant even, and dissipates. I'm a redhead with some freckles - got the medium color - didn't use a mitt, just put it on like any lotion and rubbed in well, then waited about 30 minutes before finishing getting dressed. The color began to show in a few hours and then darkened even more over night. It is a very nice shade, not orange or yellow - looks pretty natural! It turned out a little darker than I wanted for my face, so I just ordered the light color in a smaller tube to try. By the way, I break out pretty easily, even now in middle age, and this product didn't cause any problems at all on my face. In fact, my skin felt softer all over after application. The aloe and shea butter make this a really lovely product. I had a little bit of streaking where I didn't apply it evenly on the underside of my arm, and I put a tad too much on my ankles and feet, but not enough for other folks to really notice. Hopefully I'll be able to avoid that in the future with a little practice. It wasn't enough to worry about really, or deter me from using the product again. Overall, this Beauty by Earth tanning product was surprisingly excellent!!

Since being diagnosed with skin cancer a few years ago, I will only use self tanner’s. I have gone through all of the popular brands out there and I feel like I’ve just tried everything. A friend told me about this, even though it’s a little pricey, I went ahead and tried it and this will be my new self tanner from here on out. The color looks exactly like the tan you would get from laying out in the sun. Easy to apply no smell no orange color. It doesn’t stain in your clothes or your sheets. Just put it on rub it in and wash your hands and within eight hours. You’ll have a beautiful color you can apply as little or as much as you want give it a try you won’t be sorry.

For reference, I swim outside year-round and while my natural skin tone is fair (& very freckled) I do have a light base tan. Of course, I wear sunscreen, so like to have a darker tan than I can get naturally. I've tried a ridiculous number of self-tanning lotions, drops, and foams for my body and face. Most of them are mostly okay, but need to be applied daily or almost daily or they splotch and fade away. I decided I'd give a different self-tanner one more try with Beauty by Earth. I am astounded at the effectiveness of the product! It's very moisturizing and tans my skin beautifully...works with one application that lasts for 2 to 3 days, even when I swim. The color is outstanding; a true tan, neither orange nor yellow. Actually, when I used the lotion 2 days in a row it was a little bit too much because my ankles turned just a tiny bit yellowish. So once or twice a week max is sufficient to achieve nice color. I was so please with the "tan" on my body that I decided to try the lotion on my face. Okay, so I have extremely sensitive skin on my face and use a moisturizer that is supposed to be helpful for rosacea/break-outs/hyper-sensitivity. Let me tell you, I was nervous about using Beauty by Earth Lotion on my face, but I felt adventurous. So I tried it and WOW I am delighted! The lotion had absolutely no irritating effect on my complexion and it turned a terrific, natural-looking tan. My "special" facial moisturizer is getting ditched, folks. And I love being able to use the same product on my face that I use on my body. So that's my review of Beauty by Earth Self Tanner. I am very pleased and recommend it!

I purchased Beautiful by Earth self tanning lotion in medium to dark. I showered and applied after exfoliating. It smells amazing (a nice coconut scent) from the tube also very emollient. It worked just as stated. I didn’t have any streaking and washed my hands immediately after the application. There was no orangey color as most self tanners have. I let it dry about 15 minutes after getting dressed. The color started appearing in about 2 to 3 hour. Bravo!!! However, after several hours so did the dreaded self-tanners odor 🤢 Every evening, I soak in the tub with fragant Dr. Teal’s and Caress liquid body soap. This self-tanner’s odor did not dissipate and I could still smell it in the morning when I awoke. Took a shower in the morning and could still smell it. I would definitely give this product a 5 star if it weren’t for the strong self-tanner odor. I don’t care what anyone says — unfortunately, they all have it!

Surprenant! C'est vraiment le meilleur autobronzant que jai essayé jusqu'à maintenant. Pas d'odeur dégueux et pas d'orange. J'ai choisi médium-fonce mais j'aurais du prendre le plus foncé. J'applique aux 2-3 jours pour un glow santé. Il ne me donne pas d'acné et la quantité est généreuse.
