Love the slot for the spoon and it seems to be good quality. It is slightly larger than the other container I have for pepper but it works. Very thick side walls and like the easy closure.

I bought the Maldon flaky salt and it didn't come with a container. So I got this so I wouldn't have to put my fingers in the salt bag.First impression of this container: It's very cute, clean style, smooth and looked durable.I realized shortly after filling it with salt, that I can't exactly open it with one hand because it's kind of slanted downwards and a bit off center, so I have to use both hands to slide the top over. Which is fine...But then I found out quite quickly that the top is not attached. I grabbed it from the top to bring it closer to dole out my salt and the top came off and the bottom fell and I lost half of my salt. So that was unfortunate. And why I took off a star.The spoon is adorable and the only reason I got this. I love the ASMR of stirring the flaky salt in this container. All in all it does what its supposed to and I like the way it looks.

I always wanted a salt cellar but I ordered a couple ceramic ones and they came in cracked so I gave up. Then I saw this one and I liked that it's wood so I ordered it.The size is perfect and it looks really nice on the counter. People who don't know better have asked me what it is. Ha! I love the little spoon and that the lid stays securely on yet easily comes off it you want it to. When I have company I take the lid off and dip the spoon in the salt for ease of use.I love my salt so this is perfect for my needs and decor.

I was looking for a salt box to keep next to the stove for cooking. I chose this one for it simple yet modern design. The lid swivels which is convenient and the little spoon in the lid is super handy. It was a great deal, it’s the perfect size and it looks super in my kitchen.
