Kirsch LockSeam Curtain Rod projection extensions

These extenders worked perfectly for installing a wrap-around curtain rod. One extension piece was the perfect fit for clearing our cellular shades! Really happy with this purchase.

Just used them and had to write about them right away. Wow, nice design and it works as expected. I only had to use 2 to get past blinds that were mounted (by someone else) on the window frame and the wall inside a window box area. Couldn't be easier to figure out and use and I am thoroughly impressed with the design. Many times these types of things are gadgets and sort of work or fail in the end: not this product plus it has all the pieces and parts needed to extend 1" at a time. Super! Had not seen this type of kit before and stumbled onto it via Amazon's lousy searching: extra extended curtain rods (didn't know it was called projection until later) and so happy for once in the seemingly unrelated search results. :-) BTW due to the length of a full 3" extension you better use one of the center supports since an extension/projection that long tends to sway.

These are hard to find items and was very happy to get them from Amazon. It saves me buying an expensive rod to hang an 84” valance over a vertical blind at my sliding glass doors

The stability of these curtain rod projection extensions is comparable to regular curtain rod mounting brackets. Installation takes time and patience. Well worth the price when all is said and done. :)

This was exactly what we were needing. We have a large kitchen door wall with vertical blinds on it and wanted to hang a valance over them but didn't want it to get in the way of opening/closing the blinds. We bought a normal 1" metal rod from Lowes that gave us a 5" projection from the wall (came with the pkg). Then we added 2 of these extenders...giving us a 7" projection. It was perfect! Each extender in this kit is about 1 inch, but you can keep adding on to get you up to 3". We only needed to use 2. The only thing extra that we had to get were supports for the middle as we have an 8 ft door wall. We couldn't find actual window treatment hardware, but were able to find 10" screws at Lowe's (in with all the other screws and hardware). These worked great! Very pleased with how it all turned out.

Easy to install. Perfect fit. Cheaper than buying new rods.

They solved my problem

These extenders worked great to layer my curtains and not have drag across the back layer when opening. I have ring drapes over sheer curtains and now they open and close easily.
