I’ve got the older Trinidad 30 and 50 reels and bought a couple of the newer 30’s last year. Super smooth, solid drag, light weight, holds good line. Older reels I’ve had 10+ years and they’re still near perfect functionally. I’m in Hawaii, use these reels on custom surf rods 10-14’, targeting Ulua (giant trevally). On a good day, will cast out close to 100yds with 60lb mono.
