These have a nice case and everything goes together nicely.But....they don't seem to like the Anytone 878 HTs!Works fine on my TYT 9600 and my Retevis RT3S but doesn't hear my AT878, tried another 878 with the same results.Thing is....I bought two, they both act the same way!I'm perplexed!AURSINC wrote me and were able to teach me something I had never heard of!How to test the mmdvm hotspot's RF function use MMDVMCal, Once I ran through the calibration process both units are hearing the Anytone 878 radio and have BERs of .2 by adjusting the offsets -500 on one and -475 on the other. As a side note, I am running the WPSD software, it's MMDVMCal is pretty simple.

I built this using a Raspberry Pi Zero W rev. 1.1 for DMR on my Retevis RT-10 900MHz (33cm band) radio.Setup was very straight forward if you are familiar with building pi-star devices and no more difficult than most others. I found that the claims about no TX/RX offset needed are accurate - I did not have to change the offset on it at all, it just worked, even at 900MHz!I picked 904.6MHz for the frequency (for no particular reason). I was listening to Brandmeister TG 91 for a while and had no dropouts, and then tried the Parrot (echo test) and it worked fine with no issues first try.There is an included instruction sheet, but it seems to be for an older version of Pi-Star. The one thing of note for this particular hardware that should be revised from what is printed is that the screen type should be "OLED Type 3" and the connection for it should be "Modem."

I hafve 2 of these from this supplier, they are both junk. the first one did not work out of the box, the second one didnt even last very much over 30 days. no support available from amazon or the supplier. RUN AWAY FAST. I would give it zero stars but that is not an option

Good quality parts for a ham radio mmdvm gateway. Hardware was no compromise, unlike some of the poorer quality units readily available online. Added a Raspberry Pi 2 W, installed Pi-Star software on a SD chip and worked flawlessly. The price was right.

Well-constructed. All parts present. Included instructions could be more detailed. Once it's up and running, no issues.

The MMDVM board I received had this issue.1. The receiver functionality was not working both V/U (ie. dead receiver) I am returning this board.2. Transmitting worked as expected.The Seller replaced my defective board, and after testing the second board, it works as expected.Thanks to the seller for a quick and seamless replacement process.Seller is very customer focused which helped a lot with the replacement process.The replacement board ( same specification as my original order ) works as expected, with a sensitive.

This MMDVM is a great product! I updated it to 1.6 firmware without any issues. It is stable and produces good audio per the resports I have been receiving. Great way to get in to working digital radio at a very affordable price. Very happy with this purchase!
