Sturdy and Functional
I just returned a case from a different company because it was heavy, bulky, and did not secure my iPad very well. This is a great case! It provides protection for my iPad and is relatively light weight. The swivel mechanism is very sturdy and functions well. I was recently told by a flight attendant that I had to put my iPad away because it was open like a laptop. I simply swiveled it so that the keyboard was hidden by the case, and all was well! The case easily slips into my travel bag with its smooth, rounded edges. The keys are not noisy and have a responsive feel. There are fun colors to choose from for backlighting the keys. I chose this particular case because it did to have a touchpad. The touchpad on the case I returned was too sensitive. It was too easy to accidentally touch it, which messed up what I was doing on the screen. The one feature the other case had that I wish this one did is a magnetic pen holder situated on the top of the case. I am not a fan of the pen holder on the side. The pleather stretches out over time and does not hold a pen securely. Overall though this is a great case, and I would recommend it to anyone. I ordered the green color hoping it would not be bright or obnoxious. It is actually quite nice, kind of a muted, grayish green.

This case is so A+, 100%, my Mom is getting one!!! in Seafoam I think!?!?
So I love this set-up way more than I loved my other folio-style. This case will “hold it’s shape/position” 100% better than the folio style. The other style was constantly slipping/falling from the viewing/typing angle I had it set to. Even with the slightest provocation. This one stays where it’s set!! The hinge is stiff/strong enough that it makes me nervous folding it from the flat position!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the different positions that this case operates at; laptop-style, tablet, tent, are the main ones I use. I also utilize the spin/screen-share feature way more than I thought I would! The keyboard is fantastic!! There is a slight delay from the time you tap any key (to wake it up) til the letters you are typing actually show up in the text. Sometimes it starts mid-word, if you’re a fast typer. I’m sure this ‘dormant-mode’ is a battery saving feature and it only happens when you haven’t been using the keyboard for a bit and then it’s only the first word that gets jacked up. The keyboard is laid out very well for me. My son has a similar style case and the ‘shift’ key & ‘pgup’ key are Right Next To Each Other. I frequently and randomly hit the wrong key, sending my cursor flying!! Super frustrating and Super Inconvenient. But not this one!!! I love it!! Keys are well placed and well spaced to accommodate my little kitten mittens!! The light-up feature is nice, but aside from just playing with it, I really haven’t had a reason/need to use it yet, so I cannot comment on the battery life with steady/continued use of the keyboard lights. The battery life without lights is very satisfactory! I have yet to even come close to running the darn thing down!! The function keys across the top: they mostly work 90%. Volume up/down is super consistent across all platforms. Pause/play, FF/RW Sometimes don’t work, but I suspect that has something to do with the application I’m trying to run with those buttons, ie a video embedded in a webpage does not alway do as the buttons command. Amazon videos, Netflix, etc... I have no trouble with. I don’t play/stream a lot of music through this device to know for sure about the compatibility of the buttons with Pandora, Spotify, Apple Music, etc. And lastly, the color is just gorgeous!!! (I got the light purple one.). My previous case was a navy blue that was very pretty, but every time I set it down on a dark surface, I lost the darn thing!! Dark counter top, dark weight bench, dark sofa... poof! It would just blend in and disappear! Well not this one!!!! I hope this helps!

It's almost perfect
So here's almost just what I wanted. It's almost perfect. It turns the ipad into a netbook. Hard case + keyboard = awesome. I love it. I highly recommend it. I will be showing it to my friends and guarantee I will absolutely drive future sales as I think this thing rocks. I do have some feature suggestions. I could care less about the pencil holder thing. It's clearly modelled after the MS Surface tablet as the stylus loop is pretty much exactly what my surface tablet has for its stylus that I never use. Meh. Big meh. I'm tempted to cut it off. Wish like on the surface you could have the option of sticking it on either side. The Surface stylus loop is a sticker, put it where you want. It makes NO sense for the pencil holder to be on the bottom instead of the top in portrait/tablet mode. Kinda dumb. Even in clamshell mode it is on the left when most people are right handed. Little product design advice. Next advice: This hinge is clearly modelled after the Lenovo Twist laptop, which I had. Now my daughter has. The hinge works the same way. This is super cool and I love it as it was one of my favorite laptops. Here's the hinge issue though. It can't fold all the way around to the other side. That would be super cool. Just needs a double cardan type hinge so it can fold on a second hinge and get the full flip under. Next product feature request/suggestion: It needs a touchpad so it feels more like a laptop. A small one would be fine, certainly enough room for one. It should also suggest turning on the advanced keyboard navigation features in the instructions because that option makes this keyboard even way cooler. Okay, that was two. Next feature request is to make this thing work more like the ASUS transformer, which it obviously also gets its design ideas from. The tablet/netbook design rocked. The transformer was a tablet with 8 hours of battery that clipped onto the keyboard dock... which had its own battery that could charge and prolong the life of the tablet for another 8 hours for a total of 16 hours of battery. Surely, you could come up with a wireless or wired charging design. This would fix another issue... The keyboard is too light. If it had the battery bank in it, it would increase keyboard weight so the thing doesn't fall over backwards when you tilt the screen too far back. Is USB-C too much to ask for? Seriously? Using micro-USB is so 10-20 years ago. Again, back to the battery bank idea, plugging in the keyboard to charge both keyboard battery bank and tablet is just a good design idea for the next gen product. If there was even a thin covering of a neoprene like rubber in the case to help absorb shock from drops, that would rock. And if the tablet could mount in either way left or right (for the lefties, not that I'm one of those weirdos :D) that would just be a solid design idea. I mean, what would it take, cut some more holes? Whoever designed this made the coolest ipad keyboard case I have seen so far. I love it. All the above isn't criticism in the slightest. Just suggestions. If you're reading this as a customer, just buy it. You'll love it. Those floppy soft keyboard cases suck. Can't use them on your lap without a lapdesk. This case makes it a mini laptop running iOS (sadly). It's dope. Pull the trigger and get it, people. Okay, suggestions out of the way. They keyboard, while a little small, is excellent to type on, and I am a larger dude with big clumsy fingers, yet I can touch-type on it great. It's quite good. The "Twist" mode stuff is exceptional, the hinge feels sturdy, the material is solid. It seems to have amazing battery life. It's almost exactly what I wanted. It fits the bill quite nicely. I got one for my son and after playing with it for an hour I knew I needed one for my ipad. I love it. Buy it.

Lasted 7 months then a key started typing on it's own - New replacement thru warranty. Easy Peasy.
I love this keyboard but if I can't type without a character randomly (commas in my case, repeating streams of commas...) appearing in long strings then it's useless to me. It has turned into a giant keyboard-shaped paperweight. Since support has been non-existent when I call and it’s been 7 months since I bought this for my new iPad 8 I am left with the unshakeable feeling of being robbed. As with any product, it's only as good as the support behind it. I am disappointed because I do like this keyboard and it has more than done the job for me. The lack of contact with support makes me want to buy a name-brand product with some readily available tech support or buy the cheapest version of this device type that holds up to general scrutiny… so if support goes AWOL, in the end, it won’t be as deep a hit to my wallet. EDIT: After several tries by phone, I sent an email and have finally been put in contact with Tech Support about the issue. They have been very responsive so far and I will update and edit my review after this matter has been settled. Fingers crossed. EDIT 2: After several emails to tech support detailing the problem and discussing the steps to verify/fix it, they seem to have approved replacing the unit. This process went very swiftly and the respective support people were very helpful. I am glad that this was the case and it went a very long way to dispelling my initial fears of abandonment. They stand by their 1-year warranty and all buyers can extend that to 2 years just by going to the website. Once I receive and test my Flexbook I will give a final update but as far as things are going currently, I am pleased. EDIT 3: After a quick dialogue with support they shipped me a replacement unit as I was still under the 1 years standard warranty (I also extended the warranty to 2 years on their website at the start of this process). The replacement is working well and overall I am now satisfied with the experience. My original complaints were based on my failed attempts at getting in touch with support via the provided telephone number. Once I used email things changed quickly. I am happy with this product as I stated, the only issue was the randomly typing characters and from what I can see here it is a problem that others are suffering from. If this is happening to you, email tech support (the address is in the manual). The ability to get customer support from the company is the long and short of whether this product is worth buying and I can now say that it is. There was no money wasted on my end and I now have a great little keyboard case to use. I’m a satisfied customer once again.

I love it!!!
I love it! I have an IPad Air 3 and no longer have a desktop tablet or PC. I needed to put together a slide presentation and decided to get a keyboard to help it be more productive and make it easier. This keyboard tablet case all in one is awesome. I felt like I had a regular desktop device that made my work go so much faster! I also purchased a wireless mouse. I considered getting the keyboard they offer with a trackpad, but I like that I got the mouse separate as I like having that little extra space for the keys. The quality of this item seems very good. Feels like a regular like keyboard,, plus it feels sturdy and good quality. One more thing, I love how my iPad could swing 360 and have the keyboard lay behind it so I could use it in full tablet mode.

There’s More Gold Here than Just the Case Color
I picked up a unit for a 10.2 2019 iPad. The BT is reliable, case construction solid, and keyboard support mostly strong. I have found a few features that don’t work as expected, but most are there. The keys are ergonomic and comfortable and the lighting, LED-based, provides a heck of a rainbow show. The strongest feature is the multi-angle support: You can use as a laptop, tent fold, tablet or “book” While the joint interface looks sketchy, it’s so-far solid. The product is marketed as protective. Me being me, I had to unintentionally test that with a drop of six inches or so. The KB was closed, but it hit (a nightstand edge!) on the iPad side. Again, I really wasn’t planning to do that. But the case did protect the tablet. No scratches, dents, or (gulp) cracks. This unit is fabricated in what appears to be a hard plastic. That may seem like an aesthetic turn-off, but I suspect it acts to absorb impact on hits. There is some scuffing with the color removed, but it’s a good general trade off. The material also helps to keep the unit lighter. One cautionary note: Be VERY careful mounting the tablet into the screen interface. There are basically tabs at the top and a protruding ridge at the bottom...and a very tight fit. I can see either of those tabs breaking if you’re not careful—patient—in mounting your tablet. Price wise? Take a look at the alternatives, including Apple. This product has more features for less cost than anything else out there. I actually was more impressed with this one than Cupertino’s. Generally: Bravo.

Too Small For Me.
Let me start off by saying - The keyboard is fine. Connected no problem, feels good, responsive, etc. No real issues as far as the hardware goes. HOWEVER, I end up having to return it as I just couldn't get used to it. Not sure if it's simply because of my large hands or what, but it just didn't work out. Stinks, because I really wanted to like this as it does essentially turn your iPad into a laptop. So, I would still recommend this just not for those with paws like me lol. Decided to still give it 5/5 as it is a nice keyboard and my main issue is more of me a thing.

After 4 months of ownership the backlight feature keeps turning itself on.
I purchased this keyboard at the end of July and have had it for around 4 months now. For the most part it has been great, but for a few annoying things and one recent issue that is a big deal to me. The small things - this keyboard requires you turn it on and off and if you forget to turn it off when you aren’t using it the keys will start to flash colors randomly, hours after I stopped using it, this has woken me up before. I had another blue tooth keyboard before this one that I never had to turn off. It just went into sleepmode and the next time I typed on it it responded very quickly, and the battery life was also longer. It had a backlit option as well, so that’s not the issue. The other small annoying thing is when this keyboard goes into sleep mode it takes a long time to respond when you begin typing. My previous keyboard responded almost instantly, i could click one key and it would begin typing on the next click. This keyboard does not do that, I have to tap repeatedly and wait for the keyboard light to flash on and then flash back off to begin typing again. This is mostly annoying because I do a lot of fiction writing and sometimes have long pauses during my writing sessions and the keyboard will fall asleep while I’m still sitting there, ready to keep writing. The major issue though, is that recently, after 4 months of usage, the backlight feature has begun to turn itself on at random. I only use the backlit feature when i am typing in the dark, which is only about a third of the time, otherwise I like to preserve the battery life and work without it. However it turns itself on so much, so frequently, that it’s not even plausible to keep turning it off as i go because it turns itself right back on. IT’s very distracting as well, since it usually goes through the whole flashing color rainbow and often times continues doing so even when i try to choose a color. I’m afraid it won’t be usable much longer since the battery will continue to die much faster with the backlight constantly on. But I really liked the 360 feature on this since I used to have to take my ipad out of it’s case to use without the keyboard. Disappointed as I’ve only had this keyboard 4 months and it is now malfunctioning. Not sure if I would purchase this one again in hopes that it was just a fluke or if I will look somewhere else next time. I do not like the slow response time out of sleepmode so i may look somewhere else.

So far so good!
My 3rd generation air ipad is older, no denying that, but still works like new so I did not want to replace it but the Logitech keyboard I had for years was beginning to have issues with some of the keys and the return key so I have been looking to replace it for many months. Logitech no longer supported my ipad so I have purchased a few keyboard/cases and not one of them performed anything like my old one until getting this one. The case for the ipad itself is sturdy and hard so protects it nicely, the keyboard works great and was very easy to pair to my ipad. The backlight for the keyboard works well. I am very happy with my purchase so far but that said, it’s only been a couple days since getting it. I will review again in a few months and hope to say the same then. At this point, I definitely recommend this keyboard.

Great sleek design with sturdy features
Light up colour keyboard feature is a nice touch to work in dim lighting. Rotator feature is sturdy and doesn’t seem like it would break. Little grips on the bottom are nice so the case doesn’t slide around in smooth surfaces. Battery life has been great so far. I’ve gotten compliments from coworkers on it how it looks as well. Would definitely recommend
