Review: Exceptional Quality... - I purchased 3 of these to swap into my 96 V6 Firebird, and I immediately noticed a difference from the 16 year old OEM coils that were in the car. Noticed a difference from pedal to acceleration timing, a smoother acceleration overall, and it may just be me, but the engine seems quieter in the cabin. Noticed a 2 MPG increase in fuel efficiency, but I plugged these in at the same time as I installed a cold air intake so I can't speak to how much of that was directly related to the coils. MSD web stie say it is compatible. Why?** A: I wouldn't worry to much what amazon has to say, they only sell the product. They do not know specifics on what your vehicle needs. When I purchased the coils I went to MSD's website found out the product number I needed for my vehicle and went and priced them out over the web.
