If you’re in need of a reliable, sturdy, and reasonably priced envelope option, keep reading for a detailed review!Quality and Material: 5/5Right out of the box, I was impressed by the quality of these kraft envelopes. Made from a solid paper material, they feel sturdy and durable, which is essential for mailing important documents or protecting items inside. The classic kraft color gives them a professional and clean look, whether I’m using them for business or personal correspondence. The gummed closure is reliable; it sticks well without requiring a lot of moisture, which is always a plus.Functionality: 5/5The size of these 9 x 12-inch envelopes is incredibly versatile. I primarily use them for sending documents, but I’ve found them useful for a myriad of purposes—storing artwork, organizing paperwork, and even for presenting gifts. The clasp closure at the top is a standout feature. It allows for easy access to the contents without the hassle of tearing the envelope open or worrying about it accidentally coming undone during transport.Value for Money: 5/5When you break it down, the 100-pack is a fantastic value. With the cost-per-envelope being much lower compared to purchasing smaller packs at local stores, it’s an economical choice that doesn’t sacrifice quality. Given the variety of uses, I find that having this many envelopes on hand saves time and money in the long run, as I always have them ready for when I need them.Performance: 4.5/5I’ve used these envelopes to mail documents and even thicker items like small booklets, and I’m pleased to say they hold up remarkably well. I once sent out a batch of invoices and received no complaints about damages, which is a definite win in my book. One minor caveat is that, while the envelopes are sturdy, be careful not to overload them. If too much weight is added, the seams can split, but this applies to most envelopes.Environmental Considerations: 4/5As someone who is increasingly mindful of environmental issues, I appreciate that these kraft envelopes are made from recycled materials. However, I wish they were made from 100% recycled paper, which would elevate their sustainability credentials. Still, the kraft paper gives a rustic, eco-friendly vibe, which I find appealing.Overall Experience: 5/5Overall, my experience with the Amazon Basics 9 x 12-Inch Clasp Kraft Envelopes has been overwhelmingly positive. They deliver on all fronts: quality, versatility, and value. Whether you're mailing documents, organizing your office space, or looking for a reliable envelope for gifts, these envelopes are by far an excellent choice.I would highly recommend these to friends, family, and anyone in need of a dependable envelope solution. I’m already planning to stock up on another pack, as I want to ensure I never run out. If you’re on the fence about purchasing these envelopes, I say go for it—you won’t be disappointed! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Reliable, Sturdy, and Perfect for Everyday Mailing Needs *by on Reviewed in the United States December 1, 2025* These envelopes are exactly what you want if you need something durable, consistent, and affordable for shipping or document storage.
