A good spudger is almost a necessity these days - use it for opening anything plastic with locking tabs (tv remote controls, computer stuff, etc.) These are expendable tools - they will eventually break (ridiculous loading on the tool - nature of the beast), so having several is a good idea. These seem to work well.

These work for the job intended, gutted I didn't realize how easy they would snap.

These are a light weight and flimsy but they have to be to pry the tablet or phone open without damaging it. At this price you can't expect them to be very heavy duty. There are enough to get the job done even if they bend or break.

I can't emphasize enough how crucial nylon is for prying tools, and these tools have nailed it! Despite some complaints in other reviews about durability, I've personally found these tools to have outstanding performance. Having used inexpensive spudgers before, I appreciate the variety of edges these offer, and they've proven to be surpringly sturdy. Highly recommended for anyone in need of reliable prying tools for small electronics!

I'm sure it's suppose to do what it says, but I am still having no luck in removing the cover off my Tab, sure there are a lot of video's out there but I can't seem to get the cover off mine. Other than that it does not mar or scratch the covering on the back of the Tab. which is great if I can get it opened. 5/28 Update - I was finally able to get the cover of the Tab open, I broke another tool, but finally got it open. Still a great tool to use on these operations.

Outstanding for freeing batteries from battery compartment on gadgets. Example: 8 batteries in GardePro trail camera. Otherwise, damage battery with knife or metal. PS - GardePro needs constant voltage batteries - Kratax or Tenavolt

knew when we ordered that plastic has a chance of breaking, but have already broken one when trying to open a laptop. Will see how well the other 4 hold up as the need occurs. Bought the plastic one because metal can scratch surfaces and customers are not pleased when you scratch their laptops.

I bought this to be able to open my tablet to replace a battery. They worked very well and efficiently without making any kind of marks in the seam around the unit or gashes in the screen. I did find watching youtube videos how to open my tablet, however it looks like they opening their tablet from the front and mine actually opened from the back. Just keep that in mind if you order these and it feels like they are not working, it could just be a different point of entry needed because they do work.
