It doesn't hit my knees when tightened closer to my handlebars vs towards the seat. It also stays in place and needs no adjusting during workout! All important parts of my bike are now free of my evil, destructive sweat. It does take a little getting used to having some occasional rub on your legs as you pedal, but I got over that pretty quickly and don't even notice it now.
