Kitchen Tap

My last mixer tap had the two split. So the normal tap and then the sprayer. Sadly the pipe split internally and it was more to replace the pipe than it was the unit. So off hunting I go. Went to the plumbing ctr and looked at online reputable businesses but found nothing I liked . Looked here and due to the price to replace the last just wanted a simple mixer tap this time prepared to pay upto 100.00 for a new one then I say this. 30.00 ISH. Omg I nearly fell off my seat.... Id seen this one for 3x more on eBay where I bought my last one. So read the reviews like you are, and hit buy it now. I was dubious about quality for the price but thought let's see. The quality is fantastic very solid no hairline cracks anywhere, ease of install (female 35ish single no help managed fine) extra bits added to the box which I didn't need. I've only gone through the sink as the cutout in my worktop fits my sink and drainer (so didn't have to extend for the worktop on top) The jets for the output of the water is brilliant and my water pressure is back to normal. I use to clean a damp cloth and the pink stuff paste and it comes up brilliant it's not the shiny chrome it's the steel look so it wouldn't go bubbly from ease of clean. The performance of it is brilliant. I'm highly surprised for the cost as I believe in buy cheap buy twice but a month in and I'm very happy with my purchase. Fitting was simple and I've used a silicone round the base underneath as I always do to protect against leaks. Very happy customer thank you Amazon.

Bought to replace an old broken kitchen sink tap and pleased with it. The tap is a very nice brushed silver style mixer. Comes with all the fittings you need to secure it to the sink and connect to the water pipes. Also comes with two sizes of bolts for the water pipe to help fit standard connections. Feels quite solid and firm to use, when turning the head and using the handle. You do need tools to remove your old tap and connect this. For this tap, I needed a spanner for the water connections and a screwdriver for the sink fixing, plus tools to remove the old tap.

I like the tap and it came with all the fittings as described. However, the thread where the hot water flexi pipe screws into the base of the tap was poorly finished. I tightened as hard as I could by hand the first time (as indicated in the instructions), fitted the taps (very awkward job, but not the fault of the tap), only to find it leaked when I turned the water back on. I removed the tap and tightened again using a plumber's wrench. It took a lot of persuading, but eventually I managed to get a good seal (it was not cross threaded, it just wouldn't screw in anywhere near as easily or as far as it should have done the first time). A short job turned into a very long and frustrating job, but it's in now and looks great, with no leaks. Manufacturing quality therefore is questionable, but I still think it's a very nice tap... just be careful to screw the flexi pipes in all the way!

I realised how much I am behind the time when in order to have a certain attachment to kitchen tap I need a new tap. After looking around various trade shops I was surprised to find this tap on amazon. For a tap, it is a really good value - cheaper than what I could buy in a shop. I read previous reviews mentioning lack of instructions and marking of the tails. However, I think they have improved the product. There are a brief manual and tails are properly marked. In my case though I was slightly struggling as the tails were a bit too long for the space I had. The tap comes with BSP standard adapters and even small washer with a filter to go in between. The difficult bit was getting the old tap out, but the installation of this tap was easy and straightforward. It does work, doesn't drip and looks quite economical. My picture actually has that certain attachment at the nozzle. Without it the tap nozzle is smooth. That is the only critical comment I would make. Getting the aerator off was a bit painful. Not just that it is difficult to unscrew without damaging the tap, but also it started unscrewing across threads. So be careful not to damage them.

Very good value for money

So the tap is nice looks wise… but I can’t try it since they did NOT include the adapters of course. And nowhere in the manual does it say to be mindful of that before removing your old tap. So now I’m without water in the kitchen two days in a row…

Great quality tap. Good water pressure. Control lever is easy to use. Easy installation, it has the adopter for EU to UK pipe connection.

I was initially very impressed with the GRIFEMA G4008 Kitchen Sink Tap. The quality was excellent, it looked stylish, and it arrived incredibly quickly. The chrome finish gave my kitchen a modern touch, and I was excited to get it installed. However, despite being advertised as coming with UK standard fittings, this wasn’t the case. Unfortunately, I had already hired a plumber who couldn’t complete the installation due to the incorrect fittings. This meant I had to purchase a different tap and schedule a second appointment, incurring extra costs. Although I returned this product and received a refund, I was disappointed with the misleading description. It’s a shame, as this could have been the perfect tap if it had the correct fittings as promised. I would advise the seller to update the product listing to reflect this issue accurately. For anyone considering this tap, double-check the fittings before purchasing.

Je cherchais un robinet qui, par ses dimensions, permette le lavage en confort des ustensiles volumineux comme un grand pot à soupe. Les côtes de ce modèle correspondaient et les informations nombreuses étayaient finalement le choix avec un prix défiant la concurrence. La construction est sérieuse, y compris la qualité du chromage. Des pièces de complément sont fournies pour permettre de résoudre les types de montages les plus courants. L'installation a été on ne peut plus simple avec un minimum de pièces. Après plusieurs mois d'utilisation ce robinet répond à toutes mes attentes. Je constate également avec grand plaisir que sa commande est d'une douceur extrême, contrairement à d'autres robinets, utilisés ailleurs, pour lesquels il faut vaincre la résistance de la commande, ce qui nuit à la précision du débit attendu et rend l'usage désagréable. Pour finir je rappellerai que son prix est "la cerise sur le gâteau" car ce prix est très inférieur à celui de nombreux concurrents, plus connus, qui ne rendent pas meilleur service. Disons que sa valeur est très supérieure à son prix.
