Clover 3016/36-05 Takumi Bamboo Circular 36-Inch Knitting Needles, Size 5

I ordered these needles after being frustrated with the plastic circular needles that I was using. Those needles weren't sharp and the join of needle to cord wasn't seamless. Now these bamboo needles, totally different story. The needles have sharp points, making it very easy to pick up stitches, especially when the yarn is thin. The body of the needle is smooth but not extra slippery like a steel/metal needle. The join of needle to cord is seamless; smooth and strong. Not where you could easily pull the cord off the needle. I am very satisfied with these needles and think that I am able to extend the time spent knitting as these needles are very light and easy to handle.

I usually am not a big fan of working with circular needles. If i can get away with using double points I try to do that instead. I am attempting my first adult size sweater and had to move to a circular due to size of the project. I own a set of interchangable circular needles, but I don't enjoy knitting with them. These are a complete different experience. 1. The joints with the cable are smooth and the stitches slide past easily without getting caught. 2. I like working with bamboo because it is not so slippery that the stitches slide off and get dropped but it is not so "sticky" that the yarn doesn't move smoothly on the needles. 3. The cable is fixed so it doesn't spin around and get twisted while I am working. 4. The size of the needle part is long enough to work a decent number of stitches and short enough to manipulate easily. 5. These don't make my hands hurt from having to hold them too tight and they are very lightweight. I am liking these very much and I would recommend them.

I am new to knitting and I am making a baby blanket. I needed a circular needle and this is perfect! It is strong and it is very smooth. I have tested the strength because sometimes I knit too tight. It works perfectly and I would definitely recommend them!

Takumi is the best quality knitting needles I always stay with it

I use bamboo needles for slick yarn so it doesn't scooch right Todd the ends of the needles. The only thing I am not crazy about is the plastic. I learned a trick to put them in really hot water for a few seconds and the relax.

Smooth and light-weight, they make for beautiful knitting. Only brand I buy.

This is on overall a good Circular needle. I guess I was a bit disappointed by the feeling of the bamboo but now that I am used to it, it feels a lot better. Also, even if you would think at first that it is not good quality, it actually went very well for my very big blanket project I knitted with it. I would certainly recommend it for some intermediate knitter who don't knit that much and just wish to have some circular needle. I think it is a nice enough product.

Clover brand bamboo knitting needles are my go-to tool. Especially like the circular needles even for straight knitting. The points are smooth but the yarn seems to stay on until I want it to move. Eventually I will replace all of my knitting needles with this brand.

Like very much - great to knit with

I bought this pair of circular needles because of the good reviews and was very disappointed since they are completely unusable right form the get go. The yarn catches on the splintered points and it is impossible to use them. Would not buy again, definitely not !
