Pages pull out of spine on first use
Cute story, but the pages pull out of the spine on the first read. I tried to exchange and it happened on our second one, too. We have many “I Can Read” and Fancy Nancy books and never had this problem before. Maybe we just got two out of a bad batch. Just order it with the expectation that you’ll be taping the pages in 🙂

Nancy's glamorous learning style 💕
The stories are about a small child learning about life and how to treat others. I believe they are doing a great job in showing how the character processes her emotions and develops a friendly conclusion every time, all the while revealing Fancy Nancy's creative and glamorous style and wonderful vocabulary!

Nancy is Entitled
My daughter was so excited about the new Disney series, so I bought this book for her birthday before the show even aired. Had I known that Nancy was an entitled little brat, I would have avoided this show and book altogether. In the text (just like the first episode of the show) Nancy’s dad builds her a playhouse and she just complains that it isn’t fancy enough. She never thanks her dad for his hard work or the fact that she got a playhouse to begin with. I had to add a lot of my own explanations for my daughter to understand that Nancy is not a nice person and she needs to learn how to be grateful.
