Bought 2 for “tween” aged nieces. Does not come with batteries. Once the cartridge is loaded you have to press the lower trigger first where the motor (?) revs up, and then the top trigger to actually fire the foam dart. 1) if you press the top trigger first, the foam dart gets stuck and mis-fires. This is very easy to do and multiple people made the same mistake. Have to shove a chopstick down the barrel to knock it away. (Easy to do once you show the kid how). Wish the motor started turning with the press of one trigger and not requiring 2. 2). The motor (or whatever) is surprisingly LOUD. There is no sneaking up on someone to hit them from behind. Sounds like a mini vacuum cleaner. Probably not the high-tech NERF image they were going for. But, it’s what they wanted so I got it.

It's so easy to use, my 3 year old can do it! We really wanted one that he could use but the pull back Nerf guns were so hard to pull back that it was pretty much impossible. We tried this automatic one instead and he absolutely loves it! He can load it the right way and shoot the darts effortlessly.

I bought two of these as a gift and these are absolutely loved; the only complaint so far has been how quickly you run out of bullets because it's so quick and easy to shoot. It does not jam, that has to do with the foam darts. Use good quality darts and take care of them and the gun will not have any issues. Overall I would highly recommend it.

Bought for my son's birthday. Could not find it in stores and he's a collector of all things nerf and fortnite. This gun is exactly as described. Very easy to use. Does need batteries. It's extremely durable. Colors are vibrant and he loves it. It gets used daily. It shoots very far and the "bullets" come out fast lol.
