Fun and unique
My boyfriend LOVES jerky. Like a lot. So I got him this for Christmas and he loved it. The novelty of the flavor names is hilarious, and according to him, the flavors are amazing! The Cyclops one is his favorite so far.

Great gift for your friends & yourself
delightfully packaged & humorlessly labeled. I gave the Christmas surprise packs as gifts to my hunter & chef friends. EVERYONE LOVED THEM. they were moist & tasted fresh. I bought the big box for myself

Delicious!
Exceptionally good flavors! Loved the descriptive names, but couldn’t talk anyone at work into trying any! 😣 chickens! Would definitely purchase again since I know they’re delicious and hilarious.

Overpriced but a wonderful unique gift!
Ridiculously, outrageously overpriced but my grandson loves them! They arrived today and he called to thank me and is going to share them with his parents.

half hearted at best, no thought as to the animal they were supposed to be invoking.
Unicorn: clean, hint of spice, sweet with a solid citric acid bite. My favorite. KInda puts you in the unicorn mood. Dragon: high pepper content overpowers everything else, but not bad. Can’t really identify the alligator flavor/texture. I can see where the heat is supposed to make you think “dragon”. Loch ness monster: eh. Nothing special, can’t really tell the bison is there. Best I can say is “Inoffensive” Chupacabra : chorizo-like flavor, milder than I was expecting. The choice of pork as the base meat is puzzling as I would have expected some kind of reptile blend given the background of the beast. Edible but not exciting. The flavor profile somewhat matches the place of origin of the legends, but I’m not impressed. Greasy and disappointing. Griffin: initial impression: well, this is definitely different. The ostrich gives a very different texture (surprisingly tough and chewy but overall good mouth feel). Very low spice, very moist and sweet. Not at all greasy or unpleasant but not really special, either. Nice after taste and lingering light pepper heat. Werewolf: the teriyaki overwhelmed the taste of the venison. Might have been better without the beef. The gaminess was there, just not as pronounced. Really didn’t put me in mind of werewolves, but was quite edible. Kraken – rather sweet, not as fatty as I was expecting, good mouth feel Phoenix: good salt-sweet-sour balance. The pheasant has a pleasant mouth-feel, not overly gamy or tough. Pegasus: good, neither too salty nor too sweet. Can’t really taste or identify the antelope, but a decent mild flavor. Altogether not offensive. No real aftertaste or burn. Basilisk: overall not bad, not particularly spicy, not greasy, I’m sure there was alligator in there, just not sure where. At least the exotic meat component is logical for the mythical creature (reptile) though I would think snake would be better. Final impressions: for the most part, you can barely notice the game meats. There’s a strong over reliance on beef. Would have paid extra for sticks really featuring the game meats. Some of their meat choices were puzzling and very few really brought to mind the beast they’re named after.
