I dropped my Kreg pocket hole drill bit, and of course it landed right on the tip and broke it off. This bit not only serves as a replacement, but comes with the handy measuring piece which is also the Allen wrench to tighten the collet.

This makes making pocket holes a breeze

Having broke one drill, this was a replacement. This is the only bit that works with the Kreg pocket drill jig, I’ve tried others and they do not work at all.

This works just as advertised and it makes it much easier to use.

You should have a few of these on hand if you use the Kreg system often. I have found the collar will slip, then gouge and seize on the drill making adjustments near impossible. Best to buy a new drill combo if you do a bunch of different projects requiring depth changes. Other than the above issue the Kreg system works well and produces great results.

お小遣いが少なく、興味の対象が多いオヂさんは、何をやるにしてもコスパ重視。 大工道具も「同じ機能なら安いモノ」、当然ポケットホールジグも本家Kregをパク…“リスペクト”したフロムちゃいな製だ。 で、当然ながらドリルは切れない。少しはマシになるかと思って、2本で千円のドリル刃を買ってみたものの…だ〜めだ、コリャ。 で「切れ味が良い」という評価を信じて「本家」を買ってみた。ま、ちょっとはラクになれば良いなぁ… …何じゃ、コリャ。 ドリルを押し込まなくてもドリル自身の重さで、勝手に掘れて行く！ フロムちゃいなのドリル刃なんて、押し込んでも粉のような「削りカス」しか出て来ないのに。 コレが本当の「コスパの良さ」だ。切れないドリル刃で苦労してガタガタのポケットホールしかできないより、スッとキレイなホールが作れる。当然、出来上がった作品の仕上がりも違ってくる。 治具はフロムちゃいなで良いが、ドリル刃だけは「本家」を買おう！ 次も買うなら本家だ。
