The mailbox is sturdy, fits larger packages than my previous standard box, but also is not huge and bulky looking like the EXTRA large sized mailboxes. I paired this with the Architectural Mailboxes #7516B-10 Pacifica in-ground steal mailbox post, black (on Amazon). The post’s bracket was a perfect fit and it was so easy to attach by just opening the mailbox door and putting screws through the bottom of the mailbox As with most mass produced items, one of the holes connecting the bracket to the POST did not line up. I drilled the hole a bit larger so the last screw could be placed. This was NOT an easy feat because both the mailbox, pole and bracket are made of TOUGH TOUGH STEEL!! I used a brand new drill bit and much patience! This mailbox is secured soundly. It’s not going to budge. For my custom look (our home is grey and white) I spray painted the pole white. The pole is not cemented in and sits level and sturdy. Finally the project was finished off with artificial fake monkey grass flowers. ( Alyptus store on Amazon) and Biling solar outdoor lights (Biling store on Amazon). Mailbox setups can be quite expensive if you want to add a little extra flair to your landscape plan.
