These inserts are fabulous and fluffy/cozy. I put them in the dryer for about 7 minutes and they came out big and soft and wonderful. They are firm enough, but not too firm that they aren't comfortable. My friend has these inserts and they have lasted and held their shape really well. These are good quality pillow inserts and worth the extra cost over cheaper versions.

I looked at cheaper products, but realized they were made in China. Since I was trying to replace cheap feather pillow inserts, I didn't see any point in replacing them with something that was no better. My old cushions had feathers coming through the thin cotton. Since these are pricier, I ordered one to see how it was before I ordered more. The ComfyDown is made in America, does not smell funny, and fluffs up to be really fat. Before ordering, I took the old insert out of case and measured the empty case. It was 21 x 23 so I ordered the 24 inch insert. When I received the pillow, I was worried because it was vacuum sealed which made it flat and very large. I put it in dryer on air dry for about 15 minutes and it came out fat and nice. It fit the case and is very plump. This is a very heavy pillow. The cotton covering seems substantial. For throw pillows that you use a lot, these inserts are worth the extra money and I was happy to support an American business for a change. I ordered a second one for the matching throw pillow case. The first one came quickly and was well-packed.

I would say for the cost, the size of the pillow not being made to fit it's pillow case size fully was a bit of a disappointment. When I received the pillow, I saw the insert recommends to purchase a pillow case one size smaller. One would think that the pillow be made sufficiently to fit the exact size pillow case the pillow measures. Suffice to say, my pillow is in the pillow case I bought before purchasing the pillow, and the pillow does not quite fill the case of the same size. For the price of the pillow it would behoove you to overstuff the pillow so as to fit the same size pillow case without having to go down a size... which is skimpflation in my mind. However, the quality is good. Packing and shipping/timliness was great! Nice pillow all around, except for the sizing down. I do not agree with a pillow not made to fit the same size case as its dimensions.

Decent quality but I had to return it because it wasn't "filled" enough. I also sized my pillow case up by 2 inches, but it still had room and didn't have the firmness I like.

Bought this pillow insert to match an existing down pillow insert that I've had for years. Purchased two 22x22 pillow covers for the inserts and the pillows filled them out perfectly! Firm but soft. I always get the pillows 1"-2" larger than the cover so it fills the cover completely, that way it doesn't look like a cover.

I have a 20 x 20 and a 22 x 22 pillow sham. I read to get two sizes up for the insert, so I bought a feather 24 x 24 for the 20" and have a 26 x 26 on the way for the 22." I didn't like the firmness with the 2 " difference, so I'm using the 24 x 24 insert for the 22" sham and will return the 26 x 26 insert when it arrives tomorrow. I just ordered a 22 x 22 feather insert for the 20" sham. a 2" difference is plenty. I like them slouchy and could probably have gotten the exact size and been happy, but these will work fine, especially after they've been 'slouched' on for a while. I originally ordered poly-filled inserts and returned them pronto - hate those bouncy things. Feather & down is the way to go and these are very well made. Follow up a week later: I sent back the larger inserts and got ones the same size as the shams. I first tried 2" bigger as some suggested. That was too much. 1" difference was still too much. My ultimate preference was to have a bit more 'slouch' and less propping up on the sofa so the same size insert as sham works perfectly that way. Now they're just right ~ Yours truly, Goldilocks

These are incredible pillows! I did a lot of research and read lots of reviews, beforehand. Seemed that everyone was super happy, so I bit the bullet and paid up! I’m so glad I did! Packaged impeccably, but most importantly, they are so comfortable, made well, don’t have a feather odor or feathers poking out of the cotton. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely order more!
