Power Up Your Home with Confidence.
I've been using the Nooie 13A WiFi Smart Plugs for a while now, and I'm a total convert! They've transformed my home into a haven of convenience and smart automation, and I'm particularly impressed with their outstanding customer service. Let's dive into the details:Pros:- Seamless Setup and Control: Connecting the plugs to my Wi-Fi network was a breeze, and the Nooie app is user-friendly and intuitive.- Reliable Performance: I have 12 plugs in total, and they've all been rock-solid. No dropped connections, no lag, just smooth operation every time.- Voice Control: Compatibility with Google Assistant is a game-changer. Turning on lights, TV and the plugs with a simple voice command feels like magic!- Energy Monitoring: Some models even offer energy monitoring, which is a great way to track my appliance usage and save on electricity bills.- Stellar Customer Service: This is where Nooie truly shines. When one of my plugs unexpectedly stopped working, I contacted their customer service team. They were incredibly helpful, promptly sent me a replacement plug free of charge. The entire process was hassle-free, and their commitment to customer satisfaction is truly commendable.Cons:- 2.4GHz Wi-Fi Only: Some users might prefer the flexibility of 5GHz Wi-Fi, but honestly, 2.4GHz has been perfectly adequate for my needs.- App Interface: While the app is generally user-friendly, some advanced features could be a bit more intuitive.Overall:The Nooie 13A WiFi Smart Plugs are a fantastic investment for anyone looking to upgrade their home with smart technology. They're reliable, convenient, and offer excellent value for money. And with exceptional customer service like I experienced, you can buy with confidence knowing you're covered. I highly recommend these plugs and wouldn't hesitate to buy more in the future!Rating: 5 out of 5 stars (the extra 1.0 is for their amazing customer service!)I hope this review helps you decide if the Nooie Smart Plugs are right for you. Happy automating!

Follow the install steps and it's easy to connect to Alexa
After reading the reviews I had mixed thoughts about the set up process, - I've got bulbs and plugs from several manufacturers so I really wasn't looking forward to this with my pack of 4 plugs.Well in all fairness it was easy as long as you followed the steps.1. Install the nooie app (I used the barcode on the instructions)2. Create an account with your email address and choose a password. Wait for the 6 number code to arrive to complete your account3. Set your phone to bluetooth connection4. Have your wifi password ready to insert5. Click 'Add a device' then plug in the first plug and wait for it to find it (this took around 20 seconds)6. Once the device appears, change its name to whatever you like (I chose 'plug 1')7. Click 'Appliance' and 'add device' to add anymore plugs you may have. That's all your plugs ready for use through the nooie app. One tip - I wrote in pencil on each plug so if they got mixed up I would know what they were called.Connecting to Alexa1. Open Alexa, at the bottom click the 'more' tab and select 'skills & games'2. Search for 'nooie home'3. You'll need to install it with the email address and password you used when you set up your nooie account4. make sure your nooie plugs are plugged in then click 'search for new devices' in Alexa5. Click each one to set it up in Alexa and add it to a room if you wishThat was it. No problems, no uninstalls or repeats, everything worked perfectly first time. The plugs themselves are smaller than the TP ones I have and seem to be robust and easy to look at. I'll definitely be ordering more of these in the future. A great find at a good price.Update 06/06/23I bought 4 more of these plugs as they are so useful. I've had issues recently with my router and a couple of power cuts. When this happens my smart bulbs stop working and I then have to try and figure out how to get them working again. The smart plugs however worked as soon as the power came back on. That's when I decided to get rid of the smart bulbs and plug the lamps into a smart plug with ordinary bulbs. Now I just command the plug to switch on the lamp. Exactly like before without the faff of setting up smart bulbs from many different suppliers all needing a different app. Now its just Alexa and Nooie. It was a breeze to add these new plugs to my existing collection (I pencil a number on each plug so I can keep track). There was an issue with one of the new plugs not working so I emailed the nooie customer service and they got back to me within a few hours, even over bank holiday. Within a few days, the new plug arrived in the post and is working fine - great customer service from nooie. I'll have no hesitation in ordering more from this company.

Does work with Alexa (Eventually)
I have quite a few lamps on timers in my house so decided I would change them so I can make it easier to adjust, operate whatever and having them linked to Alexa would be cool....... Firstly they would not connect via my router so I had to go via the app, which insisted on telling me I had no internet, this was not the case. Anyhoo I did manage to connect them all up this way which was a bit long winded as you have to try to connect to your own router first before it would let you go via the app! I then linked my Alexa account with the Nooie app and went through all the procedures as described everything said my accounts were linked. However when you ask Alexa to switch whatever lamp on they do not recognise or see anything of that description...... I could only find info regarding cameras which a lot of people were having grief with and were having firmware issues and if you look on the Alexa reviews Nooie only gets a 1 out of 5........ Putting Alexa to one side I am happy with the smart plugs, you can time them as much as you like, you have an instant off and on control and even though the plugs would not connect to my wifi at first I was able to switch my lights off and on from work and scare the crap out of my girlfriend which was an absolute bonus :-D........ So to summarise don't buy these if you want to have Alexa control, if however you just want to be able to time your lamps and have access from anywhere in the world they work perfectly fine...EDIT...... It seems Alexa takes a while to understand or recognise these plugs..... I don't means a few minutes or hours... We are talking DAYS...... I can now tell Alexa which lamps I want switched on or off..... Added an extra star 🌟 I recommend these plugs still 👍

Great product at a great price
Overall these are great. Several positives and just one negative. The negative first and it's only for initial set up. So once done it's not a problem. With the first plug I followed the simple instructions but could not connect. Tried many times. Searched the internet, watched a couple of youtubes and still no joy. Eventually I wondered if my dual band WiFi was the problem as the nooie info says 2.4ghz only. So I turned off the 5ghz part of my WiFi and tried again. After an hour they all seemed to be connected. I have no idea if the 5ghz was the issue but I now have the 5ghz WiFi back on and they work fine. It was an annoying hour.So the positives....great value - four plugs for £25!Once set up in nooie, these were automatically recognised in my Google home and voice commands could be used without much extra effort. I don't use Alexa. These are fairly responsive and turn on and off by phone touch screen (in nooie or Google home) or Google Voice command easily and quicklyI put one in my shed in the back garden (in a waterproof socket) to operate some outside lights and it works great.Look great, compact, nice modern design with a switch on the side to turn off and on.You can set a schedule for on and off but not tried yet.You can set them up to behave a certain way after a powercut. Note that the default setting here is to turn off, I prefer to return to previous setting which can be selected with a click.I will be buying a few more while they are a great price!

Good, straightforward smart plugs
These are nice looking, well made and well packaged plugs that were easy to install and work well with Alexa, despite being very reasonably priced. The installation process did pop up some Chinese text at one point but it seemed like a device ID or similar and not anything important. The Nooie app is easy to navigate and has the usual timer/schedule features, but I expect most people will ignore the app after setup and only ever use them through Alexa/Google Home etc, which let you set devices to come on 20 minutes before sunset and so on.The only issue I had was due to an Amazon limitation, not the fault of Nooie in any way. Our three Echo Dots were originally set up on my wife's Amazon profile, and saying "Alexa, switch to William's profile" only affects the device you are talking to, not the whole home as I assumed. For a couple of days I was wondering why two out of three of our Echo Dots didn't recognise my new plugs or the "Office" room I'd set up, and I had to come out of the office to work the office lights. All I had to do was tell the other two Dots to switch to my profile. I do wish Amazon allowed you to share skills/devices/settings with another household member, or nominate administrators, as my wife isn't technically minded and struggles with this kind of thing, which meant it was several months before I got my new plugs working, and my wife's profile is now rather useless. But as I said, this is an Amazon limitation that applies to all devices equally.

Inexpensive, reliable, excellent value for money
This is my fifth brand of smart plug, and since finding these plugs I've now got 24 of them in service (between home and work). The Nooie plugs don't require a hub and instead integrate directly with your wireless. Putting them in pairing mode was a bit hit-and-miss, but once they are in pairing mode the setup is incredibly simple, and once they are configured they can then be unplugged and re-plugged anywhere in the building.Even when they are unplugged for a while they don't lose their paired status - all 24 remain paired from the day I bought them, and all 24 are still working fine today. At home I used them to power my ring cameras, so they are not in use whilst I am in the house, but as soon as I leave the house the trickery of Alexa and a smart sensor switches them all on as I leave! At work as we are no longer using the office (now permanently living the dream, working from home!) I have them attached to various IT-related devices. If one of them stops working I can simply reboot it using a Nooie plug! This has saved me countless trips to work to reboot a machine that stopped working for one reason or another. That's the good stuff, and they are well worth the five stars. There's not really anything bad about these plugs, but I do have suggestions on how to make them better -They can difficult (but not impossible!) to fit in a four way extension lead. Could they be made a little slimmer to fit a bit better here? The on/off button is on the side, and it's impossible to switch them off and on manually if you have a row of them in an extension lead. Could the button be put at the top or bottom of the switch, instead of the side? The one thing they lack (compared to other brands) is the ability to measure the electricity usage of the device that's attached to it. Could this be added?Despite these very minor suggestions these plugs fully deserve the five stars, because comparatively they are less expensive, more convenient and more reliable than any of the other brand of smart sockets I've used before.I've got a box of unused smart plugs from previous brands that I replaced with Nooie switches - and some plugs just failed completely and went in the bin.Go buy some today! :)

Must have in all homes!!!
I have recently discovered smart gadgets and I`m enjoying the benefits of the home automation which Alexa brings (or Google). This package comes with 4 well packed smart plugs and manual on how to connect to your home network (router). They only work on 2.4ghz Wi-Fi networks which is coming with the most standard router received from the ISP (BT, Vodafone and etc) which results in a simple and quick setup for each of the SMART Plugs. You can use the Nooie app or like myself use the universal Smartlife application for both android and apple. You will need to connect the devices trough the Nooie app or the Smartlife app initially and from there you just go to Alexa app on your phone to cross connect and this is it, you can control now you plugs with Alexa.Tip: Name wisely as you can ask Alexa to turn on or off the plugs by names for example if you name your oil radiator in the bedroom “Bedroom Heater “you can simply ask Alexa “Alexa, turn on the bedroom heater” and Alexa will take care of everything. You can set up a schedule for your plugs for example for the heater to switch on or off during the night to save energy, the bedroom lamp to turn off at specific time if you forget. You can also remotely switch on for example if you know you will be away just open the app whilst you are away and turn off all of the lights and heating. The size of the plugs and the sturdiness is excellent and its top quality. It is the easiest way to enter the world of the smart home and you will love it.Absolutely recommend for everybody and the smart plugs are must have!!!

Easy to install, simple to use, just one thing to keep an eye on
I ordered 2 packs of these (8 plugs in total) for various devices around my home.I've been thinking of getting smart plugs for a while for lamps and fans around my home, but with Xmas decorations going up, I plumped for these. As with every year, xmas lights were all plugged in behind furniture and a nightmare to reach behind things to turn on and off, so being able to ask Google to do it was, and is great.Installation was fairly straight forward using the nooie app - but, it asks you which type of nooie account you want to use. There is no explanation in the box about which one you need to use. One of the account types is for smart plugs, one is for other device types. Having now set them all up I can't remember which of the two I needed to select, but my advice is to recognise that during setup you may find that it doesn't give the option to connect smart plugs - if this is the case simply go back and choose the other type of account.Connecting to Google Home was simple - again, as with before, when you try to connect your nooie account to google home in the app, you have two nooie account options. You need to select the correct account type. And also, in the login box there is a dropdown for location, make sure you choose the same location you entered when setting up your nooie account otherwise your login will fail (I fell for this). Once you've connected google home to your nooie account you don't need to look at the nooie app (I assume the same goes for Alexa). All in all, a great product that's easy to useOnly issue now is that, after Christmas, I have spares ;-)
