Bought these seemed like a good deal but they will not stay in place no matter how to tighten them down.

This is small looks great. Great for the price and holds small projector well. May be not suitable for heavier projectors. I would recommend this one for installing small projectors.

Works as expected and a great buy at $12. It's like buying one and getting one free. The only real complaint I have is that the threading wasn't great and when putting the unit together for the first time, it leaves shavings behind (but that's minor at best). Fair warning though, it only supports up to 7lbs, which is find because mine are like 4lbs, so 1 star reviews stating "it would not hold my 11 pound projector in place for more than 60 seconds" make no sense to me. Read the details before buying, don't expect something unreasonable, and you'll get exact what you expect (two inexpensive mounts that do the job).

What I would have liked is a slightly shorter shaft. Hanging a projector from the mount clearly does not need such a long shaft. Considering modifying the second one by shortening it to about half original length. otherwise the mount works perfectly ok. Adjustment is easy and once tightened, has not moved.

I bought this 2 pack mini ceiling projector mount set to mount my projector to the ceiling. The mount is easy to install, and does a good job holding the projector. There is an opening at the tube on the mount which I assume is for cable passthrough, and I find it not useful since there is no opening at the ceiling to hide the cable out of sight. The mount has a strong hold on the projector and yet easy to adjust. The package comes with 2 pack of mount sets, each including the mounting hardware and connector adaptor. I just wish that the length is adjustable, but at the price of $15.99 can't really complain. Would definitely recommend it.
