Bought to go between laptop and projector but the projector (or maybe the laptop) didn't recognise it or wasn't compatible with it. Can't say how it would have performed if it had actually worked. Careful if you buying to use with a projector.

Stopped working after few days.
It started without any problems, but then it simply stopped passing the signal. I have returned it. Maybe I was just unlucky.

Works great - OLD School Mac Monitor to New School MacBook pro M3/4
OK. THIS is perfect. If you need to connect an old school Mac Monitor to a NEW school Macbook pro M3/4/5. It woks perfectly. You plug the standard Mini display from the monitor, and then USB-C in to your MAC. Lights right up. NO PINK.

Lo dico per tutti i possessori di APPLE CINEMA DISPLAY 27" con MINI DISPLAY PORT. COMPRATE QUESTO PRODOTTO se avete acquistato un nuovo Mac. (io ho preso un MacMini 2020 - thunderbolt 3 SENZA mini display port!!!) Comprate questo prodotto perché è compatibile perfettamente con il vostro monitor APPLE CINEMA DISPLAY 27". Dopo aver comprato l'adattatore Apple, spendendo FOLLIE (non mi ero accorto che NON fosse compatibile con mini display port!) ed un altro paio di soluzioni proposte anche da sito di "smanettoni", INUTILMENTE, ho acquistato questo adattatore plug'n play che lavoro alla MERAVIGLIA! E, alla facciaccia loro (rif: il servizio assistenza APPLE mi ha CONFERMATO che purtroppo "il mio monitor è troppo vecchio e ASSOLUTAMENTE NON COMPATIBILE per i nuovi sistemi OSX")... con una cifra IRRISORIA, riaccendo immediatamente il mio AppleCinemaDisplay 27" e... lo setto come Monitor Principale. Ora guardo con due monitor (uno è un Acer G245HQ) spettacolari il mio nuovo "mondo" digitale! CONSIGLIATISSIMO! (e.. almeno per la mia esperienza, L'UNICO che FUNZIONI!)

99% of the time this works well, sometimes the Mac mini M1 doesn't wake up the screen.
