Vampire Codex: 20th Anniversary Edition

This is a fantastic book written by a wonderful, highly respected and educated woman. If you have any interest in genuine Vampyres this will help you understand more .

Have the 1st Edition and wanted this one to go with it.

Love Michelle's writing. Great book

I had listened to some podcasts the author has on Spotify. It’s called shadowdance podcast. So when she mentioned writing books like this one I was like I have to read it! I was especially excited to see it had a newly anniversary copy. However after receiving the book it was not to my expectations at all. Every page was handwritten notes that is not easily to read. It is not a book of value or substance.

Do not come to this expecting anything like you see in the movies, this is not a work of fiction for horror fans. This is a handbook for all things on the actual subject of psychic vampires. And not only is it thorough and fairly comprehensive, it's pretty much the premier treatise on the subject. Ms. Belanger knows the subject and speaks about it in a way that is both informative and welcoming to both the uninitiated and those who are familiar with the subject matter. Don't be fooled into thinking this is 'light reading', beause as with most things by the author, the material begs multiple read throughs. A must have for anyone interested in the topic.

I thought that I was going to learn about protecting my own energy. I lost interest about half way through. It is hand written.

I, Heather Rogers own the Psychic Vampire Codex by her and I LOVE her book!!! Not only has it helped me greatly but it's very informative in a non threatening manner. It doesn't make you think you're a freak just cause you're different. It is an honest and wonderful look at energy work. Personally, it's helped me more than I thought any book could. This is my honest opinion about the book and though I haven't gotten completely through the book I have loved it so far. In my opinion Michelle Belanger is a wonderful, intelligent, informative author, one of the best I believe to be out there. I look forward to reading more of her books. Those of you out there who are writing bad reviews of her books without even picking up her book and reading it cover to cover just because you don't like her need to STOP!!! Put your biased opinion aside and do what's right and that's to write an HONEST review about something you HAVE ACTUALLY READ. Otherwise just keep your miniscule opinions to yourself if you aren't going to put forth any effort to actually know what you're talking about.

It's great, but for the sole purpose of learning the energy works get the original. This isin't a paperback edition but a original edition from the authors textbook, it's great and faithfully done, i'd suggest getting both if interested u history. Like i stated, it's solely a fatheful recreation and lacks the full depth even though well done.
