Very sturdy
It was a great gift for my 20 month old grandson. He loves it, especially the galloping sound and the tale swishing back and forth!

Great gift.
Cute. Especially for the price. Easy to put together, just 4 simple bolts. Lightweight. Batteries included for sound. Mine didn't work, but easy 5o replace. Looks like 4 AA, Not sure on that part. Great gift.

Very cute
Fun toy - good size for toddlers. Dont think it will take a ton of abuse as it isn't real heavy weight materials. The base seems well constructed but the bolts attached into the horse didn't seem to be anchored into sturdy material- will find our how long they last!! Love the tail movement when sounds play- could get annoying at the volume they play though.

First Rocking Horse
I actually purchased 2 of these at different times for my great grandsons in two different households. They are durable having withstood the rugged wear and tear of very active boys. They were easy to assemble, a great value for the money, and looked so realistic

Not great quality
The batteries that came with the horse were dead and with working batteries the horse is very loud. We had to force fit the legs to align with the predrilled holes.

Handles become useless.
At first I loved this little rocking horse. It's cute and looks nice. I did have to stuff some padding into the chest because of how insanly loud it is. But after adding padding it seemed fine. After maybe 2 months of my kids playing on it maybe once a day with light rocking, the spring that is in the tail started popping out and now sticks out of it all the time. Then the handle bars became wobbly. After making sure the screws that hold the handles together were not loose I realized they were wobbly because of the cheap Styrofoam this horse is made out of. From light use of the kids holding the handle bars as they rock, the metal screws in the handles have widdled away at the Styrofoam and created a huge hole rendering the handle bars completely useless. I wanted to love this but the quality ended up being terrible. Plus Styrofoam gets flung everywhere all the time now.
