Excellent Quality.. Pricey
I liked everything about this tool except the price, but I think it this is a legitimate case of "you get what you pay for." It got an excellent review from the testing site Project Farm. I bought it because I had a hard stainless steel rod that held a baffle in my stove flue that I needed to take out which my regular dikes could not cut. This tool snipped it off with ease and no damage at all to the tool.

The knipex 62 02 200 are unequivocally the best nippers money can buy
Got these October of 2023 more specifically model 62 02 200 and there are a few variations of most Knipex (kuh-nip-x ) pliers and not only have these lived up to their claims. So not only have they not let me down but they’ve thoroughly impressed me with the effortless cuts on commonly used materials like nails deck screws chain link fence, barbed wire anything under 1/4” I do believe (double check listing description to verify max capacity. The blade and cut quality, ergonomics, & usefulness on this tool are second to none and while they generally do sell for around 70usd but if you’re patient and don’t need them immediately the price does fluctuate quite drastically so you can catch them for under 50 if you’re lucky and keep an eye on them. Also while they’re not the same thing they do have quite a few overlapping applications they can be used on and if you’re on a budget, by far the most value rich pair of mini bolt cutter style cutters on the market…that’s the capri mini bolt cutters and they’re under half the current price of these and while they’re not end nippers just thought it may be helpful to someone and project farm had them in one of his testing videos where theu performed really well.

These things are a beast
First of all in my experience anything made by Knipex is built to last a lifetime and be handed down to to the next generation. These angled nippers are no exception. We were in the middle of trying to rehab one of the stalls, get it ready for another horse, and there were many many nails punched through the walls and many sharp objects sticking out of the wood all around that is absolutely a no no with horses as they tend to snag themselves on anything and everything if you let them. A must ot go around and takeoff any rough edges, sticking out and diagonal cutters and the bolt cutters and the pry bars, etc., were just not getting it done. There were quite a few nails, screws etc. sticking out point first these nippers were amazing. They made quick work, one snip all that stuff was gone. Made a long job a super quick job and when you’re outdoors, trying to get stuff ready for your animals that is always a plus. I would recommend these to anybody who gets frustrated when looking for the right tool for the specific job since getting the one already, I find many many uses that I hadn’t even considered for these nippers and they are absolutely built like a brick house and will last probably forever. Are they cheap? No! They are made to dona job and keep on doing it. Are they inexpensive? Well that depends on how much you value your time. For me it was a no brainer.

Worth every cent to me
Whoever hung the light fixture in my house was a monster. They used toggle bolts with heads larger than the keyholes. One was put in at a very steep angle. Both were mostly stripped. I was unable to back the fasteners out more than about an inch with a slotted screwdriver. I would happily have ripped the bolts out and just repaired the drywall, but I couldn't get a grip on them or the fixture to do that. I am short and not very strong or comfortable working above my head, especially with a powered saw. Normal bolt cutters are at the wrong angle. So after reading some reviews of these to make sure that they could handle a couple of 1/4" or smaller threaded fasteners, I ordered them. I'd rather spend $60 on these than risk getting a head wound or hurting my hands or my eyes. Took less than 5 minutes to get the fixture down, most of which was me moving from one step stool to the other while a friend held the center. Knipex tools are expensive, but they are well made, well balanced, and a pleasure to use. UPDATE Oct 2020: I didn't have any flush cutters or any other cutters, and I was desperate. Because these cutters are not extremely sharp, they are quite handy for gripping and gently rolling 3-4 inch brads out of drywall so you don't get all scratched up. Handy to know if you have to remove trim to get to the edges of your sewage soaked carpet to pull it out it the middle of the night. As you do.

They work like they otter
I'm a bit of a cheap swamp Yankee. Browse rusty tools at yard sales and clean them up, sharpen and adjust. Sometimes you find a treasure but usually not. It's beat, low quality steel or forging, twisted with handles that look like they've seen a struggle that no amount of dip-it plastic goop can fix. Knipex are incredible quality. I picture NASA with rows of these. The electrician at the CERN collider under the Swiss Alps only reaches for these because they work. I had a bunch of rusty, small 8-32 nuts and bolts on an antique I was restoring to pull off. Tried this, that and the other darn thing; air grinder wouldn't get in there, dremel didn't have the HP although it tried hard, other cutting tools packed up and went back to the shame of a dark toolbox. Knipex said this is nothing and snipped them off in a couple hours of careful snipping. It's some kind of black forest heat treating secret we may never know but always admire. Yeah, Knipex doesn't have 'Nein' in their vernacular.

Super great tool for snapping off protruding nails that are hard to reach with hacksaw or grinder. I love this tool and it is great that Amazon.co.za send it so fast for my needs.

Saw this on Project Farm, super high leverage bolt cutters. It can even cut HSS.

Like another reviewer I needed to cut away roofing nails protruding en mass under my back deck roof. This tool worked great. I cut well over 100 nails and the blades show absolutely zero wear, which seems remarkable to me. I even used on another project cutting through a few drywall screws. Pros: cuts easily, durable, Cons: doesn't cut flush

I got these to snip off some sharp ended bolts from the other side of my garden fence. I thought they’d be cheaper than an angle grinder and, knowing this brand well, I felt confident they’d do the job. And they did! With the added benefit they’ll last for years.
