Square Wood Beer Tap Handle Display with Chalkboard for Kegerator and Home Bars

I have 2 taps on my Kegerator. I try to have the tap handle that matches the beer it pours, but sometimes you just can't find a match. This is a great option when you can't find the correct handle.Well made and attractive.

I bought this item for my dad, he's been wanting a chalkboard handle. Anyways, I love it I think its nice, real heavy duty, I think my dad will enjoy it too. But the reason I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5, which I really wanted to give, is because I received it a bit damaged. The chalkboard part on the top looks wavy like something kept pushing on it making it come up, also the top part of it in the back on the corners is damaged too like it kept hitting against something. Its not too bad but still it bugs me, I hope my dad won't mind it too much .. Also, the box it came in looks a bit mangled too. Its just the box and it'll probably get tossed anyway but still it didn't look too great.. Looks used .. **Edit: so my dad loved his gift but he can't tighten the handle on his keg because it doesn't sit straight. When its tightened it faces towards the left, so he has it on there a bit loose which sucks ...

Good option for a customizable tap handle.

Looks great, fits, and the chalkboard works. I bought another for the other tap.UPDATE 4/21/17: The chalkboard has begun to bubble on both handles that I purchased. I have not done anything to them other than write on them gently with chalk and keep them on my two tap handles at room temperature. I don't have pets or kids to blame it on, either.UPDATE 7/26/17:Jack from Cross Path contacted me via email and apologized, noting that they just recently were able to reply to negative reviews and offered me a replacement of both tap handles with a new design. The chalkboard is now painted instead of glued, and it seems to be a similar but improved design. They have not been put to the test yet, but I am updating my review in good faith that the design will hold up, and if it doesn't I will update if necessary (this time after emailing the company). They look like excellent tap handles and the chalkboard paint looks smooth and solid. I appreciate the great customer service from Jack at Cross Path--he even had to send a second shipment because Amazon didn't give them my updated address! I really appreciate the follow-through.

The wood has a nice finish but the chalkboard is very difficult to write on, especially in a neat manner. The thing I like least about these though is that their threading results in the handle facing the wall, completely defeating the purpose. If I leave the handles loose so that they face the person pouring the beer, then they are noticeably wobbly. I even changed the faucets when I upgraded them and the issue is identical. Seems tough to believe that it is a coincidence... I wish I had returned them when I initially bought them.After writing this review, I received direct feedback from the seller offering two solutions. It was timely and considerate. While I still feel that the product could be designed better, the solutions provided more than adequately made up for the frustration that I have thus far experienced.

My second set of taps. First set was custom with my name on it. Not much room to write. This has much more room to write brewer and type of beer. Might replace the others with another set of these. Definitely worth the money.

This is my second chalkboard handle and it is perfect in every way. My first arrived in two pieces and I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be that way or if it was a problem. I sent a message and received a reply from Emily that it was in fact to have arrived in one piece. She offered to send a new one at no charge or refund me the purchase price if I wanted to glue it as she knew that there were a few that the glue did not hold. I simply put a little wood glue on the parts and problem solved. Would never dream of taking advantage of a small business that exudes such integrity. They are both in place and look and function great. Picture attached. Think I will go now to make sure they are still working properly.Kevin J

Bought a handful of different blank chalk taps for my bar and on arrival, this one was the worst of the bunch. As you can see, their quality control missed one filled with glue in the threads and it just felt more cheap in-hand. However, seller promptly offered a replacement at no charge and it's arrived looking and working just fine. It does sit a little cockeyed on my tap, but I managed to rotate the tap just slightly so it's less noticeable.

I really like this product and it certainly does what it intends to do. The build quality is very high. It’s a very solid piece. The chalk board erases perfectly without leaving a trace of what was on it previously (I’ve been using a wet cloth to erase what’s on it and no issues reapplying chalk when it dries).My only complaint is that when the handle is tightened all the way down, the chalk board is not pointed in a desirable way (see first photo). It’s off in no-man’s land. I have corrected the issue by using a spare rubber washer on the tap handle (see second photo). That’s the only reason for less than five stars.

Good quality, but, I have 2 taps on my kegerator and bought two of them and they hit each other when using one or the other. Recommended for a single tap, not a double.

would buy again only wish there was a larger variety to chose from

After writing and wiping off the chalk 3 times I've noticed pieces of the spray on chalk board is falling off... still decent for the price! I can always spray on a new chalk board
