NATIVE INSTRUMENTS Traktor Kontrol S3 DJ Controller + Traktor Pro 4 Software

This is by far the best DJ controller on the market for price. Has all pro inputs and outputs that some controllers twice the price don’t have! I use this controller weekly DJing in some of the biggest nightclubs in London. I never have any issues with the Traktor software, it’s solid and flawless! The unit itself for me is sturdy and has lasted well. I would highly advise anyone who buys this controller to buy the Traktor flight case to keep it protected. (You can find this on Amazon marked down as the S4 case. S3 fits perfectly in this case as you can see in the picture. I have over 23 years professional experience as a DJ. I can assure you for price this is by far one of the best controllers available. Decent build quality, ridiculous amounts of inputs and outputs, solid software that never ever crashes. Not many people on the professional circuit use Traktor anymore, which is great for me because this software helps me stand out. I personally turn off the sync button and mix manually which gives this controller an amazing CDJ type feel when mixing. Also having sync on really drains laptop processing power. Having it off mixing manually is best for professionals. This controller has booth output, xlr output, rca output, line output, line in, microphone input… Tell me any controller at this price bracket that has all that!!! None…. Even some controllers twice the price don’t have these inputs and outputs… The only downfall is that the microphone input is not amazing although is more than adequate. You will see what I mean for yourself when using. If it had an analog mic input it would be better. Other than that 5 star controller that is a workhorse for me and helps me make a solid living from music! Have no doubt that if you use this controller right that it’s a beast!

Here are the many benefits: 1. Two types of master output. 2. One stereo input for your sampler, CDJ, drum machine, etc. 3. Jack and Mini-Jack for the CUE. 4. Really good quality and clean design. 5. Works with different software (sometimes I use Djay Pro). 6. Good sound engine. 7. Ability to assign different FX on each deck. 8. Price: I bought it for 379 GBP, but it comes with Traktor Pro 3 for free, which costs around 100 GBP. It feels like you're buying this controller for 279 GBP, which is the price of a Pioneer FLX4. I really love it. There is enough space to do your mixing and prepare additional tracks/drones/percs for decks 3 and 4.

Started thanks to a friend on a S4 MK1 and I am very happy with the S3. Really good compromise between the S2 and S4 for a decent price. You also get the key to have the software wich is nice and easy to use.

Not great! Feels cheap and sounds awful, sent back quicker than my black holy communion shoes

Compared to the s2 mk2 the build quality has dropped massively,the faders are flimsy and the overall chassis is cheap feeling,mine has started to wobble as if it has warped slightly but I’m stuck with it now as I missed the return deadline. This is the last native instruments controller i will buy which is a shame cos they used make decent hardware

Bit of an odd unit thought it would be decent being a Native user for over a decade, it's just lacking bits in reality. Can't understand why they have moved away from having controls for the fx units like on the s4 now the master fx are ok but very limited in use, can't really see much gain over an S2 other than outputs and the extra line faders, with some clever mapping you can virtually do the same with an S2. My unit also had a faulty Cross fader and no way of calibration native ended up saying send it back, I ended up with an S2 now teamed with an Akai lpd8 and it does what I need very well, I feel the S3 is a bit of a wasted opportunity for NI put the fx in and it'll be good with out is just a bit basic

As advertised this 4 channel Dj console is built to last. It offers excellent quality and performance. I’m happy to know that’s also supported by Virtual Dj and other third party software beside the NI Tracktor one.

You already know what it is. It's really good, but for the love of god don't buy it through amazon. You will not get the traktor key.

Need to improve as i have used same brand other models with out any issues. but this controller with windows has issues with auto Sync button ( songs are not sync and goes out of sync ) if you are using manual beat match it is working fine.
