LOVE IT, but I would've LOVED IT more with a replaceable bolt
I love this adapter! It works as advertised with my 27" MX279H 11.5lbs monitor. I used the adapter with Mount-It! MI-3352LT Laptop Notebook Desk Stand Mount, Full Motion Height Adjustable Holder, Articulating Vented Platform for Cooling, Fits up to 17 Inch Computers, Clamp Mounting, 22 Lb Capacity Black and it works beautifully. The only thing I would suggest HumanCentric to do is to send a longer bolt that can replace the silver bolt that comes with the monitor. I was able to use the original silver bolt, but I did not feel very safe with it. I don't believe the length of the bolt is ideal to use with the adapter. It wasn't very sturdy. At one point, when I was adjusting the angle of the monitor, the original silver bolt came off and almost dropped my monitor. And yes, I tightened it very good! I replaced the silver bolt with a bolt that had the same width but longer, and now I can adjust the angle of monitor without a concern that bolt may come off again. Also, no more wobbling, and the need to adjust left and right as other reviewers mentioned. Please refer to pictures.

and is very sturdy. Only downside is it's a little costly
Works well for the models advertised, and is very sturdy. Only downside is it's a little costly. Two adapters for the mounts is almost equivalent, or greater in cost to the adapter. Aside from the cost it is a well made and sturdy piece of metal.

Easily the most effective mount adapter, if not the only one.
I bought a VESA adapter for an Acer 23" monitor from HumanCentric previously, so I purchased this one for my 27" Asus as well. My other monitor had drooping issues where it would tilt forward due to the weight, but it wasn't the adapter's issue as the monitor had a weak/easily-adjustable stand which caused the droop. I'm saying this because I fully expected the same issue due to how the Asus mounts to its own base, but this has to be the best way to circumvent the lack of built in vesa adapter. No drooping, easy to install and very well built. 10/10 would mount again.

This product shouldn't even have to exist, but I'm glad it does
This VESA adapter works well for my MX279H but I would like to point out a few words of caution. Because the center of gravity is shifted, you may need to angle the mount downwards slightly and tilt the monitor upwards to get the correct balance. It's a sturdy mount, and the fit was perfect, but the monitor's design causes it to be front-heavy. I guess that's more of an issue with the monitor than the mount. This product shouldn't even have to exist, but it does and I'm very grateful for that.

sturdy, buuut...
It fit on the vesa great however my monitor was like i dont wanna fit on this... Basically i had to go buy a screw that was a 1/2 longer (really! charge 50cents more and give us one). And it didnt allow me to pitch up enough to be even with my other two monitors. It'll work but not as well as you might want.

Works Great! For an awesome monitor not to have built in VESA, it's sad - This is a perfect option to mount where the monitor manufacturer failed. Great product, easy to install and is secure and better than any other options I've tried!

I can't believe I spent 30 bucks on this piece ...
I can't believe I spent 30 bucks on this piece of metal which doesn't work on my MX279 monitor. This adapter ask you to use the screw provided by ASUS where in my MX279 it clearly cannot be taken away from the circular base. I don't understand how much it'll cost them to provide a single screw for a $30 product with just one piece metal. Junk! Will never buy again.

They work
Worked as expected for my 27 inch Asus monitors. One star taken off however because they took a very very long time to get here. Besides that, implementation was simple. Only thing I'll say is, I wouldn't recommend tightening the screw (attached to the actual LCD that you're required to use with these adapters) down with pliers as per the instructions they supply in the adapter box. Keep in mind, the LCD base is still plastic, and if you tweak it down too hard you'll snap the plastic. A firm tightening with a flat head sufficed for me and it's solid.

Perfect.....does what it says on the tin, very solid. It didn't have my model on the description, MX27UQ but I can say it works perfectly.......there is just enough room to fit your hand and cables in the back of the monitor.
