What is the angle of the slope?

I'd say very close to a 45 degree angle.

This elevated pillow causes my calves to become red and painful. Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution? Thank you.

I have swollen and red legs. Please don’t mess around with that. I had DVT in both legs plus a pulmonary embolism that landed me in the intensive care. I was in the hospital for 8 days. This can be life threatening. I purchased one of these leg pillows so I can elevate my legs at night to help with the swelling and redness in both my legs.
