Long Grain Rice, 5 lb

Rice as you’d expect. Fine.

I made yellow rice and the texture isn’t bad. I’m really picky when it come to rice and the texture once it’s cooked. Every time I used it, it turned out great.

I ordered a 10 lb bag of this rice from Amazon Fresh and received a 5 lb bag, but for the price it is still a phenomenal value for the money. (Now that I've checked back the product photo shows 5 lb and the item listing shows 10 lb, so it is likely just another human error. One star off for the screw up.)

Good buy

After reading all the rave reviews and since my go to rice was unavailable I thought I would try this rice. I tried making a one pot dish with this rice and it ruined my dish, I had to overcook the rice otherwise it would have remained crunchy. As a result my dish of spanish rice with chicken and hot sausage tasted mushy and starchy.I often make this recipe with uncle bens rice and it always turns out great.If you like crunchy or mushy rice by all means go for it.

I bought this since Jasmine rice is always not available. It's also good and bought again.
