Great Gloves! Excellent Customer Service!
These are my son's first pair of Renegade Gloves and he really likes them. We go through 2 pairs of gloves per season (fall season and spring season) so 4 pairs of gloves per year as a full time U12 goalkeeper practicing 4-5 days a week plus games. Gloves are not durable goods and you should expect to go through gloves especially with several practices in a week plus games. You should cycle your gloves so you use a pair for practice and a pair for games, then cycle the game gloves to practice gloves, etc so you always have the best grip for games. These gloves are a great value and comparable to the Reusch/Adidas gloves I purchase in the 79.99-89.99 range. The wrist band is fabulous and provides a lot of extra support that I have not seen in Reusch, Adidas, or Nike. The padding on the palm is substantial (thick) and adds protection for those super hard stops without stinging . My son is SUPER picky about his gloves and I have returned more gloves to the store than I care to admit but he like the fit of these. I was hesitant to buy gloves from a company that I have never heard of before on Amazon, but I am so glad that I did!! These are totally worth a try and the company does stand behind their product. Tyler is awesome to speak with and cares that his customers are happy. The gloves run true to size- I have seen some reviews that said they run small but they are comparable to Reusch/Adidas/Nike sizing. One other note, you need to "care" for your gloves as well- get a spray bottle and fill with warm water- spray some on the inside palm/finger area before you practice/play (do not soak, just a light mist). Try them out- you will not be disappointed!

Good value.
These are really good gloves for the money. My daughter loves the fit especially the thumb. She is a U-14 keeper and used these for matches in a 16 game season. They held up well and she feels very confident wearing them. She's still developing physically and the finger stays were just right for her. Good protection but not overly stiff. We will order the same ones for spring and then maybe step up (and prolly size up) for fall. I recommend these gloves for over all quality and value. Of course there are better gloves out there but not at this price.

Great glove, even better customer service.
My nine year old daughter has been keeper for two years. After wearing through/outgrowing several other brands of keeper gloves, this is now her favorite. They are very flexible as she needs to close her hands, but the fingersaves provide great protection as she gets in front of anything. She also says they are very comfortable on the inside. She has played about five regular season games, two four game tournaments, and ten keeper trainings with these gloves and the grip surface has been holding up very well. She is not gentle on them; she dives for anything out of her immediate reach and is fearless. What inspired me to write this review? After her last tournament ending with a shootout, she broke several of the fingersaves. I emailed Renegade and they emailed right back with a reasonable and quick solution.

So close to being an excellent glove at a reasonable price
Please note that while this review is recent, it was originally written about 18 months ago. I recently purchased a new pair of Renegade Fury gloves and wanted to reference the original review, but I could not locate the review on the product webpage - this was copied from my orders/reviewed page. Durability rating - Originally 2 stars, but I'm adding in a 3rd for the fingersave spines, see final discussion point. I am also rating this section on grip, since there isn't a category for it and grip is going to be important for any keeper. Duribility - I don't feel these gloves held up as well as they should have. Several fingers appear to have worn through the foam layer to the base layer, although I can't be sure since I can't quite see light from a tiny flashlight inserted into the fingers. The palms have held up decently but have worn through more than the fingers - I attribute most of this to my form declining due to COVID. The bottom area of the palms have not "broken open" yet though, which I feel is a strong plus - keepers should not be using this area to catch the ball and as a result these areas can/should be reinforced to prevent prematurely ending up in the garbage. Grip - Initially the grip on these gloves was great, I would have given them 5 stars for that. However as the top most layer began to wear away, so did the grip and this did not take long to happen. I followed the instructions (almost) to the letter - prewash before initial use & dampen before games. I did not handwash after every match/training; instead I washed them once every 1-2 weeks depending on the number of games a week (usually 2-3 games/week), with a trusted keeper glove soap product, and rinsed them after every game (I'm old now, and don't really train any more). In my experience, washing more often than that causes premature deterioration. Value for money rating - Durability rating divided cost, but an arbitrary rating at best. Comparing perceived value/cost of other brands, I think these gloves should retail for around $45-50. To be fair though, I'm often receiving top-end gloves from big brands through people I know for anywhere from half price to free (I'm spoiled, I know), but I'm attempting to consider this rating as if I would have at least paid half price. That means I feel that I'm getting about 40% of the value of these gloves as I would from a pair of gloves roughly twice as much (at retail, MSRP prices). I think cutting the cost of these gloves by $10, $15, or even $20 a pair, would bring them more inline with the value I get from gloves that retail for $150. Renegade seems to regularly offer deals such as 10% off or something in that range, which helps, but that price is still too high in my opinion. Comfort rating - I have worn a size 11 for 25 years. I know how gloves should fit - slightly snug around the finger, but just a little bit of room at the tips. The biggest drawback on these gloves is that they are very tight. Roll finger (and negative cut) tend to be a bit more snug than normal cuts, but these gloves felt like they should have been listed as a size 10; that means if you're reading this and about to order, I would suggest increasing the size you order by 1 (ex: normally an 8, order a 9). While this is subjective, this assessment feels inline with other brands and similar glove cuts. It's a shame that Renegade only produces gloves up to a size 11 though... based on the fit of these gloves, I would love to try them in a size 12, if only Renegade would produce gloves in that size. That aside, these gloves are actually quite comfortable for being a bit undersize. My hands don't overheat during games, and catching/punching/tipping the ball has just the right amount of impact absorption. One last piece to discuss - the fingersave spines. TLDR on this section: good, better than most, but still feels slightly under-engineered & produced. These spines appear to be a single piece of extruded plastic, cut into identical pieces, and then pressed back together and affixed with something akin to duct tape. While the Renegade spines from all 5 pairs I've received appear to have been produced well in this regard, there is little to actually prevent fingers from being bent back or give strength and promote good finger catching positioning. Nothing to lock each individual spine against the next spine in line except for the thin edge of the plastic, which can stretch the backing to the point of breaking since the backing is the only thing keeping them together. If the spines were cut with a very slight angle on them, and I mean 1/2 to 1 degree at most, and then assembled with the edges forming a slight curve when the backing is applied, these spines might be the best in production at this point in time. This could also possibly increase my Value to Money rating by another star in addition to the star I added in the durability rating.

Reliable
Got a good 300 indoor games over 6 years, without a catastrophic failure. Just general wear & tear. Yes the wristband is starting to detach, yes there's a small hole in the thumb, but overall still doing their job. Can't complain to be honest.

comfortable but not much grip to them
The product was pretty good for its price. It had good padding on the gloves for blocking the ball but the grip wasn't much better than just using my hands. I tried dampening the gloves to give them a bit more grip which helped a little bit but overall not much change. Everything else on the glove was really nice and for its price, it's not a bad deal. The glove also comes with braces for your fingers but I find that they start to overlap in the back of the glove leading to an uncomfortable feeling. this can be changed by just removing them but still a nice addition.

Disappointed with Quality - GK Gloves Arrived Torn
I bought these GK gloves from Amazon, but they arrived torn even before using them. Quality control seems lacking, and it's disappointing as I had high expectations for this reputable brand. Reached out to customer service for resolution. 1 star

Great gloves
I got these a few weeks ago and haven't used them until yesterday. They look great and are really comfortable. They come with lots of advice about caring for them to get the longest life from them. They have very good grip and the finger save is excellent. I would definitely recommend them.
