Haven't been using this long enough to SEE the health benefits in myself, but the product is easy to use, has a pleasant taste and blends well into smoothies. (no lumps) I often make a morning drink with yogurt, fruit, maca and chia, (plus some liquid like almond milk or regular milk- whatever you like). I am a big chocolate lover... so adding cacao and ice makes it feel like you went to Dairy Queen for a malt - EXCEPT (instead of the sugar crash from a malt) you have ENERGY and aren't hungry again in an hour!!I LOVE THE EMAILS FROM THE SUPPLIERS THAT GIVE YOU IDEAS ON HOW TO USE THE PRODUCT! WOW!!I did google Maca and even webmd has quite a list of health benefits although they throw in the disclaimer that there isn't enough research. Hopefully most people will realize that the big Pharmaceutical companies and many physicians (not all) don't WANT us to use natural products and REAL FOOD to allow our bodies to heal naturally... Their medications bring WAY too much money to their pockets - you would be shocked at some of the stories of big Pharma blocking the truth of what real food can do for healing our bodies.I am a nurse and I have seen it in others and am improving on my own health as well!SO- I recommend you do your own research - I am getting off the subject -- but the Maca Root powder seems to be a really good product!I am pleased to add it to my healthier diet regimen.

I wanted to try this out because I've read a lot of the benefits of it from various food blogs I follow. Once I got it, I was slightly put off because it smells fairly strong, imo...like nutty, but also a raw root vegetable scent. Then I tested it out on a smoothies. Omg, it was delicious! Totally added a malted flavor (w/o gluten or dairy!) & none of the weirdness I thought it'd have. It was so good I forgot to take a photo and drank about 3/4 before I even considered sharing my love for it, lol.Anyhow, I've found the almond/chocolate/coconut/banana smoothie I first made definitely is a great option for adding maca. I tried it with a strawberry orange smoothie later and the maca gave that blend a beet kind of flavor. Not bad because I do enjoy beet juice, but not the malted deliciousness I was hoping for. So if you get this maca, definitely try it in a few different things (& maybe look up recipes like I did the 1st time rather than winging it like I did the 2nd try) because certain mixes seem to bring out different aspects of the maca flavor. I'm glad I tried it & I'm excited to find more tasty ways to use it! I've got my eye on a matcha maca smoothie next, yummm.

I must admit, the taste is pretty bad if you don't dilute it in something enough. Also if you eat it by itself it feels like clay in your mouth and tastes terrible. So definitely suggested you put it in a smoothie or drink. I've never heard of maca powder and I just came across it and figured why not try it out. The DV label on it doesn't show any vitamins or anything else except some calories which has me stumped. I searched on google the benefits of maca and apparently it is LOADED with sustenance. Within minutes of taking this for the first time I noticed a huge bump in energy (I took it at like 10 PM, not suggested if you plan on going to sleep ;]) and took it before going to work where I am normally lethargic and tired. This wakes me up more than premium coffee does! I am absolutely full of energy undoubtedly because of this miracle product and it also enhances my mood, positively mind you!I can't believe a simple powder has this effect on me. Definitely going to continue buying this and use it daily. If you're questioning whether the "benefits" listed are true, they most definitely are. As for the sexual stamina and libido I've always had a lot of both so I can't really tell a difference in using this regarding that. If you're curious about this product I highly suggest you buy it, amazing stuff.

I have taken Maca for a week now, for menopausal problems, it may be a little too soon to tell the overall benefit of this product, but my hot flushes have reduced from 20 plus a day to only a few. The product itself has a slightly burnt nutty flavor, not that unpleasant if you do something with it. I mix one teaspoon of Maca with 2 tablespoons of orange juice in the morning, and drink it just like a medicine.NOTE: It will cause insomnia if taken in the late afternoon, as I found out the first time I tried it. Apart from that I have had no side negative side effects and will continue to use this product.

This raw maca is really great. My husband and I take it daily. We love it. We wanted to find a product that was healthy, Organic and the natural kind, meaning not altered or artificial in any way.This is the first time we are trying this vendor and we were really impressed with the quality and quantity of this product. Believe it or not, but some of the other vendors we have tried for this product, they have been short changing us on the weight. These maca bags were actually more than 1 lbs.Another thing we also realized, this maca bag also contained 2 small plastic bags inside that evidently you can use to take with you the daily dosage to work or on a hike etc. etc. I love this attention to detail and it really shows that the sellers of this product really cares about their customers. LOVE IT!Oh, I almost forgot, we use the maca in our orange juice, vegetable juice and even mix it with water, but I prefer it in orange juice.I can HIGHLY recommend this product for it's quality as well as the attention to detail that Pure Natural Miracles have put in to this.I will for sure come back and buy more.

I think I expected it to be a little stronger with the triple color mix not bad but my other mock up powders have a stronger smell and Carmalee taste
