This is an excellent handset. Works beautifully with no effort on my part to get get started!

I've had the base for a few years now & decided to get an extra handset, so obviously the phone works well for me. Easy to setup, block calls, Volume control goes high enough for me, lights up bright to see and buttons are plenty large enough. Now I am wondering if anyone knows of one of those shoulder attachments that fits this phone. I use the speaker mostly these days but sometimes do like the shoulder attachment while speaking and even when I lie it down, somehow I like the way it sits. Crazy, I know.. but would just like to find a shoulder attachment that fits this phone. <smile> Thanks!

To register with this phone. Put in batteries, put on charger for a while. To register put new phone/charger next to handset. Remove headset from charger. Push and hold locator button for 5 seconds and KEEP HOLDING BUTTON while putting new headset back into charger. Release register button and our additional headsets registered using this approach. All directions on line or from Panasonic didn't work but this did. The key was to continue holding the locator button, not in any instructions we located. Good luck. Other versions register differently.

I’m one of those people who still has a home phone. I needed another handset in order to have as many as I needed to cover the house. I felt fortunate to find this one as the set is old. It works flawlessly.

Carefully review the model number of the central phone you wish this handset to be a satellite for and match it to the list provided for the handset. As far as I can tell you need an exact match for the series. I made this a satellite to my main phone in less than one minute after I had charged the handset over night. Since then, it has worked fine on a screened in porch with an exterior wall between it and the main phone.

I ordered two extensions that worked. The third phone didn't work. When I applied for a label to return it, this third party seller, good.deals.phones 123, offered me a replacement or a full refund, adding I didn't have to return the defective phone. I chose a full refund. So far, so good. But after a month I checked with my credit card company, and discovered the promised refund good.deals.phones 123 promised was still not applied back into my account. Messages back and forth produced no refund, only more problems. Amazon's solid A to Z Guarantee gave me my refund and shipping charges, but it wasn't easy. Avoid this seller.

This is an add-on. If you don't have a compatible phone set, this isn't for you. If you have a compatible set, you already know how these phone work and sound quality, etc. This phone works just like the originals. It pared easily. Good purchase.

Purchased this to add to an existing set - easy to set up - easy to read the screen and love the talking caller id.

I've always been a Panasonic fan. This phone lives up to my expectations.

The sound quality and the set up was very easy. The telephone book from our land line and our other two phones was automatically copied to the new phone.
