Best Watch Around!!
Seen a lot of negative reviews on this item and was skeptical on purchasing this but after receiving I fell in love! Has a quick charge time works fantastic while I’m at work and while I’m unable to play but this thing comes in clutch catching me plenty of shinies! Don’t know why people hate this item so much have had this since Christmas and it works perfectly to this day!

Small downside, but overall a great accessory
Cool item and when it works, it works well. My biggest gripe is with the connection issues during long sessions. The disconnect happens every ~40 minutes or so. I imagine this is a pokemon go issue. The battery will last you for hours, so no issues there. Overall, cool item, and I'm looking forward to using it heavily again in the summer!

Catch ‘em all
Works well super sensitive screen. But overall better and brighter than the old version. Good for the people that go hard playing this game. Pokémon intake will go up x2.

Newer is not necessarily better...
I was excited to transition to the gotcha evolve when I lost my last gotcha. When I received it, I charged it (quick charge compared to previous model and there's a battery indicator so that was sweet. I was afraid I would break it when I pulled the band off. Bad design there... When I went out to catch some Pokémon I wished I never saw the evolve. If you switch to another app, it shuts the evolve off. If you brush the screen the evolve shuts off. I couldn't believe how sensitive it was!!! The only screen animation was steps, the main clock and when it connected to my phone. No catch or spin animation. I felt no vibration while wearing at all. I even had sitting on a table at one point and no vibration/noise. This takes longer to spin stops/gyms and to lock on to a Pokémon to catch (I honestly felt the catch rate was lower than the previous gotcha). I will be going back to the old model. This newer model is not worth it.

It worked really well while it did, got a dud. (UPDATE: Twice!)
I had an original go-tcha model from ~2017 that finally died, I got one of these and it was great for a few days, no connection issues or anything. The software seems to be updated now, it generally catches things and spins stops just a little faster than the originals. I got it in the mail on 6/16/23 and started using it same day. four days later on 6/20/23 it has a black screen, won't turn on when tapped or when plugged in. I'm returning and replacing it now. for some other thoughts on it, the charging is a little sketchy, I wouldn't recommend plugging it into a power bank or outlet plug by itself, but most little usb adapters and extenders have little prongs that lock onto it pretty well. I used a usb-c to usb-a adapter I already had that it sat in very securely the one time I charged it the first day. When I tried it in my power bank it would just fall right out. Like others say it's hard to get apart to charge, I'm going to assume I got a bad dud, since it shouldn't have died after just a couple days, I will be updating my review with my thoughts of the second one after a couple weeks. -UPDATE- Well, the replacement one worked for 22 days, and did the exact same thing. Just dead, no more turning on or charging I made sure to charge it exactly like the instructions want, I was always pretty careful with it. I wish I didn't like the form factor as much as I do, it's much better than the originals. But I think for now I'll look into alternatives before trying this model for a third time.

Catch 'em all!
This is by far one of my top 5 fav purchases from Amazon! It has made my pokemoning so much easier. Especially when I'm driving or a passenger and there are new stops to spin. I love it!

Must have for every player!
Amazing thing to have especially on community days or even spotlight hour. I use mine when im at work and cant play on the phone. i just turn on the autocatch and come back during breaks to see what i've got. It does catch shinies on community day!

Is the gotcha good?
The gotcha is ok, its a good watch don’t get me wrong. It spins pokestops, catchs pokemon and tells you if you caught it or it fled and the charger is built into the autocatcher. The downside is that it disconnects often and it works perfect sometimes, then not other times. Its one of the top products you should but if your looking for a auto catcher I would prefer the (megacom pocket dual) auto catcher or the brook pocket auto catcher. DISCLAMER, there are different types of gotcha so don’t rule it out, I just believe there may be better ones then this one. Still a good product if you can keep it connected its a 10/10!!

Brother loves it. Comfortable to wear and it'll catch the pokemons for you. You need to bend one of the straps 45 degrees to the right to snap it off, to charge it on your computer. If not it'll be hard to pull off and might break the usb style attachment so you can charge the watch. Otherwise it is a good item and has a good app for you to download on your phone. Update November 2020: brother has been using it for the past two months and the watch still works great. Still catches pokemon and spin stops easily. It does disconnect after awhile but that goes for all the other pokemon go autocatch. The good thing about this watch is you can select between auto catching pokemons or just spinning pokestops or both. We've also tested it out while driving and this device can spin poke stops before you can even see it on the phone screen (pretty cool). This is very useful when you are driving around, walking with your kids, or at work. The amount of candies you get after transferring out your newly caught pokemons is by far the best besides the xp you earn. The watch also comes with a pedometer and a colourful touch screen. Is not water resistant so be careful with it around water. If you don't like the idea of wearing it, is small enough to fit in your pocket or loop it around a backpack or anything it can hold to. Is also big enough that you don't need to worry about loosing. Charge battery last up to 3 days depending on use. Overall still a great item. Also make sure to have enough room in your items and pokemons in order to fully get the use of this. It will fill it up quickly.
