I rarely leave reviews for items, but this cream is AMAZING! So amazing everyone needs to know about it. I live in Michigan where the winters are dry and cold and looonggg. There becomes a time during the season where you sorta accept your fate and deal with the static and dry skin no matter how much water you drink or lotion you use. This year when I settled in to accept my fate, my eyes decide to bring my eczema with force. I've always struggled with skin ailments; contact dermatitis, eczema, hives...you know, sensitive skin that's allergic to pretty much every. So the return of eczema was not too surprising, however what was surprising is NOTHING WOULD WORK to calm the skin and put moisture back in. I tried all my usual products for a good 2 weeks with it only getting better slightly for a day here and there, then it would go straight back to bad. Most mornings I woke up looking like someone punched me in my left eye (the one that had it the worst) and went to work late most days during this time because my eye was so swollen. I scoured the internet for any relief, I was desperate and would have tried anything....I (thankfully) stumbled upon a blog by a woman who struggles with eye eczema as well. She praised this cream like it was a diety, so I figured why not give it a shot. I was slightly perturbed that my Prime membership didn't make this item come faster - but it was out of stock so a 2-week wait was understandable.The restock date came a little early than projected and I actually got my item the day Amazon projected it being shipped out. From other reviews and trying to find this item other places, it seems like it goes quick! - And I understand why now. When my item arrived my left eye was still really irritated, flaky and super itchy. As with most items to heal eczema, I wasn't expecting much in terms of itch relief, I just wanted the inflammation and dryness to heal. BUT Y'ALL THIS STUFF. Something in it is magic. Within 40 minutes I completely forgot about my eye. It did not hurt, or itch nor was it swollen so much that it bothered me. By the next day, the dry skin was starting to fall off while I was applying more because the skin underneath was healed! Upon initial application, it hurt a little bit, but my eye was so dry and chapped I expected it. The container doesn't hold much, but a little goes a looong way. I also noticed the parts of my hand that applied the lotion to my eye was super soft so I put a little of the cream on the dry spots of my face and omg, my face is no longer shedding dry winter flakes. After less than a week of use, applying 2-4 times a day, my left eye is almost completely healed. The constant itching, burning and inflammation are gone. My right eye is good to go! NOTHING has ever healed any of my skin problems so quickly and without some sort of irritation/pain. I HIGHLY encourage you to get this. If you're on the fence of trying *yet another* product that probably won't work, do it. Buy this. It will change your life.

This cream actually worked to heal my harsh eczema on my chin. But be warned this BURNS. I’m hoping my long review will help someone as it is what I was looking for when researching my eczema. Backstory: It has been a 2 yr battle with my eczema coming completely out of no where (no history whatsoever). It started on my eyes, which is why I originally got this cream after seeing reviews from a blogger as I see others had. It burned badly on my eyes and didn’t seem to help. Fast forward I found out I have an intense nickel allergy and I believe my eyelash curler ( metal aka nickel) was causing it ( please consider if you have eyelid eczema). Actual review: My eczema spread to my chin and was extremely harsh. After applying Tacromilus and experiencing the most intense itching of my eczema experience, I washed it off itched the shit out of my face with a towel and I applied this cream. It BURNED- like a 9 out of 10 burn for about 15 minutes but that was better than the itching to me. Then it subsided and over the course of 2 or 3 days it started to dry up and flake off with the help of this cream. I applied it about 3 times a day maybe more. It did still burn until maybe the 3rd day but only for a few minutes each time. I honestly cannot believe it worked. The only thing before this that made any type of difference was hydrocortisone which I’m not going to ever consistently use for obvious reasons. So my tips are to try to leave it even if it burns. I couldn’t do this on my eyes but I could stand it on my chin. I believe the medicinal properties of the Manuka are what makes it burn because I tried a nose spray made with manuka in the past and it burned so badly as well. Also expect it to heal in a “dry up and flake off way” and not be moisturizing initially. This is what stopped me in the past I was looking for immediate relief and this cream doesn’t do that but it does till heal it! Looking back this may have been what it was doing with my eye area but since that is such a sensitive area I got scared and didn’t continue using it. After your skin flakes off it will start actually moisturizing the new skin. Another tip is to pat on your moisturizer do not rub. I thought this tip was dumb but I find it makes it at least half as itchy as when I rub on a cream. Love this cream going to use/ have it forever. Amazing, pure ingredients. The smell is very strong but this is the natural smell of the ingredients used. Good luck on your eczema journey all!

I, like many of these reviews, randomly started to get EXTREMELY dry skin around my eyes. I'm used to getting dry skin in the winter; my legs, my arms, my face, my whole body overall. Mild, for the most part. But this year, my eyes... red, swollen-looking, it was like the creases under my eyes were dramatically enhanced. As far as I know, I've never had eczema. This seemed like all of the eczema symptoms and I couldn't tell I was being impacted by the cold, dry winter, the dryness in my office, etc. I bought a humidifier for my office, I used face lotions, eye creams, various organic oils... nothing worked. The closest fix seemed to be coconut oil which works wonders on my body and face, less so around my eyes. I'm only 24-years old... there's no reason I should look like I'm 80-years old. One day, I was so embarrassed by one of my eyes that I wore an eye patch to work. So I did. Two days later (Prime!), it arrived. Five minutes later, my eyes were remarkably better. I've seen a few one star reviews for the people who were allergic to this product for one reason or another. I was not allergic to this product. This Manuka Honey Rescue Cream saved my eyes. I carry it with me everywhere. The best part... I DON'T HAVE TO APPLY IT EVERY DAY! Initially, I liberally applied it around my eyes multiple times a day. Now I only need to once in a while. I can use it for the rest of my face, as well. Side note: my mother is a pharmacist and a myofascial release therapist. Her knowledge of pharmaceuticals has pushed her greatly towards homeopathic products since she witnesses the negative effects that prescription and over-the-counter medicines have had on the pharmacy's customers. She sells homeopathic alternatives at her massage therapy center. After trying this cream and falling equally as in love with it, she hopes to add it to her stock for her clients.

Like others, I have eczema around my eyes and on my hands every winter and have been searching high and low for a cream that helps. I've been buying this cream for 2 years now and for a long time I loved it... it's rich, smells wonderful, and helped to mitigate the dryness, although it did NOT get rid of it completely. So if you expect miracles for your eczema, don't; but this is the best solution I found. Also, it appears that some customers have had allergy problems with it, so make sure to test it first. EDITED AUGUST, 2016: After using this for almost 2 years I read the ingredient list on the BOX rather than the jar. Either they changed something or I never read the box, because it features many non-organic and harmful ingredients! Luckily, I found BeeFriendly products, though they're not specifically for Eczema. I'm listing some other options below: So far I've tried and liked: -Paw Paw cream (better for hands since very thick, but also ok for eyes, and not too expensive) -Tamanu cream I bought from a store called Nature's Boundaries (great for eyes/face but doesn't get rid of the dryness as effectively as the Manuka honey cream.) NOTE: Do NOT buy the concentrate- I think it's for the use of cosmetic makers rather than product users. -emu oil (ok for hands and eyes). -Vitamin E oil is cheap and found everywhere, but doesn't work better than anything else I've tried, although it's normally recommended for dryness. However, it's easily found so if you need something urgent for your hands you might as well buy it. It's too thick to use under the eyes. No product, I have to say again, had been perfect. Especially for my hands-- the dryness stays no matter WHAT I use, even the medicated creams.

While the cream feels very nice and seems to work, it does not smell good to me. I will likely use it on my legs and feet to moisturize them instead of my face as it is a nice product.

I'll preface this by saying what works for me doesn't necessarily work for everyone else. For me personally, this has been a lifesaver. I have blepharitis and generally just dry eye in general. That combined with terrible eczema around my eyes makes for some seriously miserable days. My eyes were always puffy, itchy, and dry and crusty. The skin around my eyes was always dry and peeling no matter what moisturizer I used! It was miserable! I've always had eczema my entire life but the eczema on my face is something new. I bought this with the attitude of "if it works it works, if it doesn't it won't be the first product to let me down mentality." I've literally tried everything! I've tried every OTC cream/ointment/eye drops etc. along with probably countless types of prescription steroid creams. As far as eczema goes, I've never found one that works. Of course anyone with eczema will tell you nothing works, which is partly true, creams/ointments etc only try and abate the symptoms but doesn't cure it. Anyway everything I've used to put on or around my eyes burned, like big time! I would apply something to me eyes and then have to put a cold compress to stop the stinging. And like everyone else I saw this on a blog and thought I'd try it. I'll say this for it, it has definitely made the skin on my face and around my eyes so much softer! It doesn't sting as much ... sometimes the skin around my eyes is just so inflamed anything I put on it would sting. But it has helped much more than any other commercially available OTC product I've used. I usually put it on my face right after a shower and when I wash my face. you don't want your face to be totally dry when you apply it, it seems to absorb better when your skin is damp. Is it a miracle cure?! No probably not. But does it help relieve the symptoms, oh 100% yes! Take this with a grain of salt, everyone is different but as far as I'm concerned it's working for me so I'll keep using it!

I bought this cream because I have extremely dry skin under my eyes which is prone to lining, despite being only 25 years old. This product was toted, in a now in-famous blog post floating the internetz, as being a miracle cure for sensitive/dry under eyes. With much anticipation, I eagerly applied it to my eyes/face -- only to quickly feel my skin tighten and see my face turn bright red. I have NEVER had an allergic reaction to any sort of skin product before, let alone one created SPECIFICALLY for dry/sensitive skin. Will not be re-purchasing. Side note: rather than let it goto waste, I have discovered it makes a wonderful foot cream!

I have been having issues with eczema on my eyelids and below my eyes. It started from an unknown food allergy (which I found out recently that I have a gluten allergy). I have tried many products and nothing was helping. I bought all kinds of expensive eye creams and still no relief. I read the reviews about this product and knew the benefits of manuka honey so I thought I would try this cream. IT WORKS! I do not have more issues with burning and itching (which cause swelling and now the swelling is gone). I was using some prescription ointments but they all said not safe to use around the eyes. My dermatologist told me to use the RX for just a week. The RX helped but again, the label says to not use around the eyes. (Gluco-corticosteriods can cause vision issues and that was in the RX). I have been using this for a week and after 2 days I was cleared up 90%! After a full week, completely cleared up. So thankful for the reviews for Eczema! This product works!!

I was looking for a facial cream with Manuka that wasn’t too expensive. I found this one and I really like it, it doesn’t leave my skin greasy and my skin feels nice after I applied it.

Anche questa crema si è rivelata ottima: idrata bene, non fa i pallini e lenisce. In più ottimo profuma meravigliosamente di miele senza irritare. La ricomprero

Very nice cream, light and not greasy but very moisturising. Lovely light scent and best of all not animal tested. Good price for a nice quality product. Much nicer than more expensive moisturisers.
