Q: Can you place a jigsaw puzzle matt on this and use it for puzzle?

The stand it self would be ideal with 5 different heights. If wanting to use for puzzles that may not be so easy unless used with a ridged puzzle board or a board under puzzle board, which would need to be at least an inch bigger all round to fit a 500 piece puzzle. The lip at the bottom of stand would be deep enough for this.
