HPRC HPRC2700WPHA2 Wheeled Hard Case with Foam for DJI Phantom Vision 2

The case is incredibly well made, and looks like it would be great for the shorter phantom 2 models. However, it does not fit the recently updated vision models (e.g. vision+). The blades do not clear, and if removed the motors are still too tall to clear the foam top properly.The photos Amazon has posted also DO NOT match the case. The foam blade guards on the edges are not there, and instead there are short semi-circle cut outs to help align the blades. These, unfortunately, were too short to function on my phantom. I'm not sure if this design change has altered the compatibility with vision models, or if DJI has increased landing gear height since this case was designed.I wouldn't hesitate to buy this case if you have the shorter landing gear, but look towards the two inch deeper wheeled version of this case if you are trying to fit in a current generation vision+.

Bought to use for my Phantom 3 Standard - everything fits perfectly with the exception of the controller. I am pretty sure that with a sharp blade I will be able to modify the existing controller cut-out to make mine fit pretty good. There really were not many case options out there to accommodate my phantom 3 with the prop guards attached - this case consistently had good reviews regardless of where I looked. It is a large case but very light for its size. well constructed. It is a bit expensive but does the job well. plenty of room for accessories too. Batteries fit snug, drone fits snug. nice carrying handle too.

Having used quite a few cases over the years, ranging from reinforced backpacks, to polymer hard cases, this case is easily one of the best I've used. The case came well packed in a delux (lol) cardboard box with no padding. I was terrified it might have been damaged during shipping. (that was a joke.) My first impression was "wow, this thing is big". My second impression was "wow, this thing is big!". Size aside, the case is good looking. For lack of a better term, it has an "understated sportiness" about it. The matte black finish with bits of red thrown in here and there make the case look more like something you'd transport a futuristic, high powered sniper rifle in.I should note that the product picture isn't accurate. The interior of the case I received has red inserts under the black foam top, and has places for three spare batteries.The lid is held in place by four locking clamps, all of which fit tightly and feel very durable. There is a large handle on the top/front of the case, and a smaller handle that folds flat against the bottom/back of the case when not in use. The foam insert inside the case is closer to the hardness of rubber than the squishy foam found in many cheap cases. Adding to the style factor just slightly, the top layer of foam is black, with the underlying layers red.Pro:The case is fairly stylish for a hard case. Matte black with a few splotches of red thrown in here or there lend the case an almost "sporty" look.It's big enough to hold just about anything you could ever need for a Phantom.It looks and feels like it could withstand a bomb blast, tornado, alien invasion, etc...It does fit the Phantom 2 Vision Plus with props installed, and without any bending of the props whatsoever.It has a pressure equalization plug (I hope I got the terminology right).It's light for the size and quality of materials.Cons:It's big.It's really big.Bottom line: After having used this case for a few days, I don't ever intend to use a different kind. For me, it's the perfect balance of size and space.

I just got this case a few days ago and I am blown away by the quality of it. I read most of the reviews before the purchase and I don't remember anyone talking about the sheer magnitude of strength and quality of this case. It's TOUGH!My foam was cut different than the photos but I think that my version is actually better. It makes more sense and is more efficient with the layout. I am including a photo with this review so you can see what was delivered to me. You might think that there is one less battery stash but they figured out how to put a battery slot inside the copter cutout so it still can hold up to 5 batteries!The exterior is solid. The latches are built well and snap in with confidence. The top lid seals with the body of the case when fully latched and you get a peace of mind knowing the contents are well protected. The wheels are made of quality plastics that will stand up over time. The wheels spin freely on a solid axle and roll smoothly. I've rolled the case over hard gravel and many asphalt parking lots and the wheels are not even scratched. The handles are also very thick and solid and are fastened quite well to the case. They give you confidence when grabbing the case and putting it in your trunk or other tight spots. The pull out handle is also solid and slides in and out of the case smoothly. It is not flimsy and carries the full weight of the case and contents without flexing. (That was a concern of mine from the photos)I feel I really got my moneys worth buying this case. There are LOTS of cases out there and I'm sure they are OK but this case is most definitely a well built item that will protect your Phantom for years to come.
