I have kinky natural hair. I researched for a long time for a no heat straightener for my hair. Found these and researched how to properly use them to no tear out my hair. It’s easy if you use them correctly. I ordered 8 and just put in another order for 4 more.

Good in theory, but not so much in trying to use. They fall out before I can heat them up.

Love these rollers. Stay on and do not pull my hair.

My hair is natural and highly textured. My strands are fine. My length is on the long end of medium. I was surprised by how much I like these on my hair. I would describe these as the happy medium between magnetic and velcro rollers. They gripped my hair really well but I did end up using pins to secure. My resulting curls where soft, voluminous and rather silky. *side note: I need to find a better setting lotion for my hair though, the curls themselves did not withstand manipulation and became frizzy. The remaining texture and was still very soft and full, it was just unmanageable. Even with only one or two nice curls intact it looked luscious and full on camera though. I got lots of compliments from friends on Zoom. I later ended up wrapping my hair and applying a silk scarf at nights which was good for smoothing and stretching. Pros- They are vented for good air circulation and my hair started drying immediately. They are lighter than magnetic rollers and easier for me to use. They are easier for me to use than velcro rollers. They have a nubby, almost prickly, texture that grasps hair but doesn't tangle or rip strands like velcro does. The rollers do flex and squish which I feel may be an advantage to help stretch the hair as you roll it. They arrived on time or early. Cons- THE COST IS RIDICULOUS. For $5 you only get TWO ROLLERS ! If I needed 20 of this size rollers at once I would have to take a loan out. (As a matter of fact I still need a few more but am hesitant to buy them. The price is a deterrent.) If your hair is long-ish you may have to order several packs. That same nubby texture that allows for good grip means I could never have slept in these. Overall I would recommend, but wish the price was more reasonable for the quantity delivered.

I know these curlers aren't for every texture of hair, but they work great for me. I have been looking for these curlers, as they became unavailalble during the COVID lock-down. So happy to have found them again!

if you want smooth hair. These are the curlers for you when you also need to take a nap before you get dressed to go out on the town. I own them in all sizes and you can sleep on them. That’s the key follow directions on the package.

I thought these rollers were going to be great. The first time I used them they got stuck in my hair and I almost had to rip my hair out to get them out. I would NOT recommend them unless your hair is VERY short. My hair is not long but medium length. I ordered the rollers according to the instructions and got the size that was recommended.
