Bedding Bed Pillows for Sleeping Queen Size, Perfect for Back, Stomach or Side Sleepers - My Pillow Classic Pillow [Queen, Firm]

I waited far too long to get one of these. I had read other reviews about how badly it was but dismissed most because rather than give a deep review of just how it under performed they were mostly anger filled rants and I don't have time for those. I decided to go to the My Pillow website and check them out since they have so many different fills and sizes and on Amazon they don't have any way of helping you find the one the is right for you. On the My Pillow web site there is a 5 or so question survey you take to find out what type of pillow is best for you. I thought, 'They can't be serious, this short questionnaire is going to determine the right pillow for me?' So I filled it out and it said I needed the firm fill, 'FIRM FILL?! are they kidding!?' Firm pillows have never been comfortable for me. So, I decided maybe this pillow wasn't for me and let it go. A few days later I went back to the site and read more of the information on the pillows they provide again and took the same short survey with the same result (I wasn't expecting a different answer btw) but this time the idea was growing on me. I went back and read a lot of the 4 and 5 star reviews on Amazon and I began to feel that this may be something that could work out. I had planned to buy it from Amazon so if it didn't work out returning it would be fast and easy. BE READY! when it arrives it is rolled up tight like a sleeping bag and once opened it is FLAT. I thought, 'WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!?', BUT there is a set of instructions that tells you to put it in the dryer for 15 minutes to fluff it up. I thought, "Fluff it up!?, I toss pillows when they look like this!" GRRRRRRR, So I put it in the dryer and son-of-a-gun it was fluffed up 100%. OK I was impressed and my frustration was quelled a bit. ONE THING TO ALSO NOTE, there is a strong manufactured smell to it. I washed mine twice and dried it several times over two days but the smell just doesn't fade very quickly. I left it in another room for about 5 days before the smell was gone enough to be use-able so be ready for a bit of a wait. After all of that this pillow actually worked out PERFECTLY! I had serious reservations about a firm pillow being comfortable but because of the fill, which are unique foam pieces, there is plenty of 'give' when I rest my head but my head never sinks into the pillow deeply, it stays right where it needs to be all night. I sleep better and longer, get more rest and do wake up with no neck stiffness. Before buying off Amazon I recommend going to the My Pillow website and taking the short questionnaire, it helped me a lot in deciding what was the right fill for me and also keep in mind that items like pillow types are not universally good for everyone. What works for one person may not for another.

First, follow the directions to fluff in dryer for 15 min. It releases the foam to expand. I couldn’t believe the amount of faulty bad reviews because the buyer failed to read that simple instruction. Second, this pillow saves me every time! In the past, I suffered a lot of neck and shoulder pain. I bought this on impulse and desperation. I couldn’t believe it. Decades later I’m on my third pillow from this company. My last one was finally losing its fluff. The pain was returning, waking me at 3 am and on for weeks. Last night was my first night with the new pillow and once again the “magic” happened. I slept thru the night and woke up pain free. I can’t explain it but I never regret my first purchase and I’ll never buy another brand for myself. It’s been a blessing: FYI - there was no smell that bothered me upon opening it, the support is firm but then shapes to your need, and the quality is satisfactory lasting about 7 -10 years per purchase if you’re not hard on your pillow. Total game changer for my sleep and condition.

I got firm style and it's not what i'd call firm. But that's okay; i was worried it would be too much. So, if you're worried firm may be too much, it's not. It's fairly comfortable but nothing spectacular.

This pillow is comfortable & appropriate in thickness for a side sleeper. I bought a queen firm. It fluffed up nicely in the dryer when following directions for the pillow. A good buy.

These pillows are great. I love Mike Lindell's products. Recently, a prominent California congresswoman made a snarky remark about Lindell, which prompted me to buy one of his pillows. Mypillow stays soft and cool. Mypillow is made in America, which is important to me. I will buy more in the future.

I have been using these pillows for many years and has been the only pillow I can use without getting neck and head pain. I sleep better! Very little smell which is great! The chunks of memory foam are easy to adjust for restless sleepers. However..... They're just not the same as they used to be. The chunks don't seem as puffy giving it a bit of a harder feel. I have tried other brands that have chopped up foam and they mush together and feel like sleeping on putty. This is not that bad and still better than the other brands, but just not the same. Would have been 4 stars, but another star taken because I ordered a firm, and the firm that I got is not filled like the previous firm MyPillows. It did not have as much filling. It was just like the medium fill. Still a good pillow. But if you are used to the originals, these are somewhat disappointing.

I have this My Pillow in medium and have it for many years and needed a new one. I have glad I did not listen to the reviews, because I know this is a really great pillow. I ordered a firm this time and I slept like a baby! It was a wiser choice because it had the firmness I needed, it was adjustable, and material was cotton, a plus! It said to put it in the dryer for 15 minutes, but I did not have to. It did it own it's own. No smell, no odor was found. I saving my medium pillow for arm support.

This pillow is rather controversial. Best pillow ever? Complete piece of rip-off crap? I'm somewhere in the middle, but let me explain: I didn't need a new pillow. Or a better one. I'm mostly a side sleeper and I had some significant neck/shoulder pain a few years back that I never even thought had anything to do with my pillow until I spent the night at a friend's house and used their memory foam contour/curved/ergonomic neck pillow thingy. Just one night and the neck/shoulder pain was gone! But those pillows still seem weird and you don't want one of the bad ones to out-gas all those toxic foam chemicals right in your face while you sleep (I found one made from supposedly non-toxic foam) so I decided to try a different style for my second pillow and got a buckwheat pillow. This one was helpful too and aside from the crunchy noises and having to shape it almost every time I slept, I now had two different pillows of starkly different styles, but both did a great job preventing neck/shoulder soreness. So why did I buy a My Pillow if I already had two functional and helpful pillows already? I dunno, I guess I just kept hearing the ads over and over on a local radio station. My roommate has one and honestly I didn't think much of it - just seemed like a regular pillow, but another friend had one that I slept on and it was much firmer, and I was more impressed. That's when I discovered they come in four different firmness ratings based on a color code that you can get a recommendation for from the My Pillow website if you fill out a short questionnaire ("Find Your Fill Level"). I dunno, I guess I just got curious at that point, and my other two pillows were great for sleeping, but not so great for propping up and sitting back against while reading in bed. That's the point when I just pulled the trigger and bought one without really needing it. Here's the results and my thoughts: It's not really that special or groundbreaking, but it does continue my era of pain-free sleep in my neck and shoulders, so maybe it would indeed seem much better and contrasting if I were moving away from my former cheap-o pillows for the first time ever. Some nights it seems I get better/longer sleep and other nights not. Might be something else entirely. I guess the positive spin is that it is as equally good as my memory foam and buckwheat pillows, just different, and I can prop myself up on it and read better than the other two. What if I lost all three though, and could only buy one of them again to replace it? Which would I choose? I'm honestly not sure, but it would probably be a toss up between the My Pillow and the Buckwheat pillow. If you do buy a My Pillow, make sure you observe the following tips: definitely do the "Find Your Fill Level" quiz on their website to make sure you are getting the right density pillow. If you are a stickler for firm pillows, consider going up one more density level (unless you already hit the top) from what your test result suggests. Also, when you receive your My Pillow in the mail it will be rolled up super tight and flat. After opening and unwrapping it the instructions say to put the pillow in your dryer on the high heat/cotton setting for 15 minutes. MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS. It's necessary to fluff up the pillow nicely without any damage. UPDATE: remember this line? "I guess the positive spin is that it is as equally good as my memory foam and buckwheat pillows." Well after a week of sleeping on it I discovered that's it's NOT as good as my memory foam and buckwheat pillows. It took a few days, but my neck and shoulder pain have partially returned. I took a star off for that and considering the price (but at least they come with a guarantee so you should be able to get a refund) for such an underwhelming pillow. I just couldn't muster the buyer's remorse and consumer rage to give it one star though. Oh well. I'll have to step up my game in some other review I guess.

This is no better than the $20.00 Walmart pillow. It went as flat as a pancake while sleeping on it. I had to use my old pillow by the end of the night. After putting it in the dryer for 15 min I could role it up and put it back in the original shipped bag that was already compressed.

I ordered my pillow originally for me in king size firm b/c the most of the reviews said to go with the firm for side sleeper and disregard the chart (according to chart I should have ordered a medium fill). Anyways my first impression was it was very chunky and very firm. It’s comfortable but way too firm for me. My husband tried it and he’s not much of a fussy pillow guy (he’s happy with an $8 at Walmart) and now he’s obsessed with this pillow and how “amazingly comfortable” it is the best pillow he’s ever slept on and he travels a lot. So now he uses my pillow Which works out perfect because now I can order a medium fill and give him the large firm pillow I should have never ordered. I’m the kind of person who can’t find the right pillow ever! And this pillow was pretty close. So I hope now maybe by ordering the correct size now I’ll get my perfect pillow.

Queen is a bit small, buy he next size up. Very comfortable for me.
