Exellent tripod for artists.
This is an excellent and very strong tripod. I am using it to hold a pochade box full of artists soft pastels. Between the pochade box and the pastels it is at least 15 lbs. Let's see how it holds up on trips outside.

Now I understand leg locks
I did not understand why the legs on this tripod kept splaying out when the box was placed on the tripod. I called and spoke to the owner of the company who explained the functionality behind the leg locking mechanism. This solved the problem. Excellent customer service.

Love this tripod
I bought this tripod to go with my uGo pochade box for plein air painting because it was compact and light! It was a bit more expensive than other lightweight tripods but it was well worth the price! So easy to use and so compact. Totally recommend this product!
