Dot & Key Pore Decongesting + Detoxifying Charcoal Mousse Clay Mask, 85gm

Just the name was enough to get me excited for this mask as it has words like "pore decongesting", "detoxifying" and "mousse". You'all know how much I love a nice "moussey" texture and this one has definitely got it! PACKAGING: Their jars are so adorably cute! and this one is no different. I Love the frosted glass jar and it comes with an applicator. INGREDIENTS: It has Eucalyptus and Clary Sage as the main ingredients along with bentonite, charcoal powder, citric acid, menthol, etc. The active chemical components in eucalyptus essential oil contribute to its position as a purifying, cleansing, clarifying, and immune-boosting oil ideal for use on the skin. It's powerful healing capabilities reduce harmful bacteria and infections on contact with the skin. It also helps to deep clean the pores by removinge excess sebum and clean out the clogged pores like blackheads and whiteheads and remove dead skin cells, pollutants and make-up. Clary Sage Essential Oil exhibits a cooling property that soothes skin afflicted with inflammation. It calms rashes, balances the production of natural oil and sebum, and strengthens the skin. MY EXPERIENCE: 1. It helps with my congested pores as my skin is oily and acne prone my pores get congested easily. 2. It removes all the excess oil from my face leaving my face feeling nice and mattified. 3. It removes all the dirt and the makeup when I apply it post cleansing after a heavy makeup day. 4. Since it is a nice moussey texture it glides easily on the skin. 5. The Clary Sage oil gives a nice cooling effect and helps to calm the skin down and reduce redness as well. 6. It does help in removing the whiteheads, I did not have any blackheads at the moment so cannot comment on that. 7. I use it atleast once a week to deep cleanse my pores and detoxify my skin. 8. All in all I have really been enjoying using this charcoal mousse mask! 9. I think people who want to try out a charcoal mask should definitely get their hands on this as it is great!

The best charcoal mask I've used, and I have used nearly all. Cleanses very well, does not dry out your skin, easy to wash off. The texture is light and whipped, the bottle is very cute. Mildly fragranced, although would be happy if they leave the frangrance out all together.

This is my first product from Dot & Key, I read so many reviews which seemed like a paid promotion from a Blogger or an popular influencer and that made me a bit skeptical of the over the top promotion. I took a leap of faith and bought this off Amazon, the packaging is quite good, you get a small spatula kinds to apply the mask so that you dont have to dip your finger in the product. To tell you honestly about the mask, i applied a thin layer and was suprised to see it dry really quickly, ive used charcoal mask from a popular brand called Origin and can vouch that this is even better than that. The mask has an instant cooling effect and smells like mint. It does not leave your face dry, once you wash it off. I also noticed while washing that, it wasnt like a cream consistency, but like a exfoliant consistently, so you can gently just scrub and wash off. My skin instantly felt clean and fresh. This may seem like a exaggeration, but trust me, this works. On the down side, i kinda feel its a bit expensive at 625.

This product captures what we call marketing through packaging. The package is so adorable that you'd want to buy it just to hold the jar/pack in your hand. Anyway, the product is wonderful too. The spatula enables easy and hygienic application everytime. It feels like charcoal infused mud pack. The scent is amazing and the drying time is average (around 15-20min). There's a tingling sensation while it dries. My face feels and looks clearer, bright and fresh. If I could, I'd use it every alternate day. Note - doesn't clear blackheads, whiteheads or remove hair. The blackheads are invisible immediately after cleanup but they eventually resurface as my face begins to oil.

I bought this product with a lot of doubt because I had horrible experiences with other charcoal masks. But this proved me wrong. It's gentle and the texture is soft and luxurious and gives immediate visible results. The packaging is good. I will definitely stick to this product. Edit- just finished using the bottle. The mask makes my skin feel a little dry, so I had to use a moisturizer after every use. Overall a good product.

The mask comes in a good quality frosted glass tab with the protective lid and a cute small spatula to help in mask application.I use it mainly in my T zone ( forehead, nose and chin) as it gets the most congested and this works well to clear out all the clogged pores.This doesn't stain the skin and doesn't leave it tight and and irritated. It gives a subtle cooling effect when you apply. Make sure to use a moisturizer after this to prevent dehydration. I use this twice a week for best results.

Unfortunately this product didn't work for me. I didn't find any difference after using this mask. There were no breakouts but there were no difference either!
