Texture is soft and pliable, making it easy to portion out. Not overly dry or tough. Smell is mild compared to a lot of jerky treats. Ingredients feel straightforward and the turkey/sweet potato mix is a good balance. Worked well as a training treat and quality seems consistent.

Dogs can’t get enough of these. Easy to break into smaller pieces. No bad stomach ache from these. Great value for the price. No weird smell either. A great treat!

Our shih tzu loves them. They are far too large for him (in my mind, not his) so must be divided into smaller pieces. Again, he loves the turkey-sweet potato type.

GSHD with allergies
This review is based on our 7-year-old German Shepherd, who is extremely picky when it comes to treats. He has multiple food allergies and is on a raw diet, but still enjoys his routine treats after dinner. We had been using a previous brand that he loved, but it was discontinued. It had clean, limited ingredients so no; egg powder, chicken byproducts, or fillers and is made in the USA, which is important to us. After trying several alternatives, we finally found Wag Jerky flavors (Turkey & Sweet Potato and Duck) that work well for him. Many dog treats claim to feature beef, duck, or turkey, but when you check the ingredient list, they often contain fillers or unnecessary additives. Fortunately, he has had no digestive issues with Wag’s Turkey & Sweet Potato or Duck varieties. The pieces are a good size and can easily be broken into smaller portions for training. The texture is firm but still easy to chew. While there is a natural scent (as expected with any food product), it’s not overpowering or unpleasant. The inclusion of a desiccant helps maintain freshness, which is a nice touch. What stands out most is the limited ingredient list, making these treats a great option for dogs with allergies to chicken, egg powder, rice, lamb, and other common irritants. Our big boy gives these treats his full approval which says a lot. The product is worth the cost. So we say To Buy.

Very chewy
These are very chewy so it depends what you are looking for. My dog likes them but they are not a quick, easy to eat snack to take with you. Hard to break apart.
