When it’s time for him to get up, I just press the button and the alarm goes off downstairs. If he tries to ignore it, I can keep pressing the button and the sound gets pretty hard to ignore. It definitely gets his attention a lot better than shouting ever did. Setup was very simple—just plug in the receiver and it’s ready to go. The signal reaches the basement without any issues, which was my biggest concern. The sound is loud enough to wake him up, but there are also different volume and tone options if you want to adjust it. Overall, this turned out to be a really handy little device. It’s obviously designed for caregiver alerts, but it works great for any situation where you need to get someone’s attention in another part of the house. In our case, it’s become the perfect (and slightly annoying) basement wake-up system! 😄
